"From Paris to Berlin In every disco we've been in We're singing **** Nottingham, **** Nottingham!" Just imagining some lad from Loughborough shouting "**** Nottingham" in a nightclub in Saarbrucken.

I like the Magical Mystery Tour KDH idea. Has the potential to be one of those droney, never-ending chants which are good. Although I always felt our crowd give up on chants after only 30 seconds.

I always liked bring on the sunderland.

Crystal Palace are maybe worse, at least in the last ten years. I think Everton may be the worst of the lot. Potentially huge club spending most years just surviving.

Didn't follow it at all yesterday but watching the extended highlights Fatawu looks good again. We look brilliant to be honest. Knife through butter.

United fans are more pained in my experience. Tortured souls.

I don't think Ipswich will. Leeds could to be fair, but low 90s. We're very close.

6 more wins gives us 90 points which should be enough

Whenever I think of Shef U, which unfortunately I do sometimes, I just think of pain. Maybe because I met a lot of Shef U fans at uni whose relationship with their football team was akin to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, but I'm not sure I know of a more abused fanbase. It is apt that their most famous fan is mostly known for a record number of on-screen deaths.

I know they were somewhat off from anyway but I wonder if Maidstone will be an Essendoh moment for them and they'll totally fall away

"You negotiated in Italian?" "Yes Susan, in Italian."

Also still looking. Might buy one in the home end next to the away fans then climb over, what's the worst that can happen.

I think this is a fair post. I don't always enjoy the football and I think some people are going a bit overboard with some posts that imply anyone nostalgic for the swashbuckling style of 13/14 is some kind of knuckle-dragger. But it's effective, and at times very watchable, and I think the bad atmosphere has less to do with the football than people think. The thousands leaving on 85 minutes is unacceptable and embarrassing though.
-
People can't have it both ways. They'll say "I can't get enthused about this league" but then also complain that we are playing a style of football that has so far proved extremely effective when trying to get out of it. If our games were finishing 3-2, 2-2, 2-3 and we were in the playoffs would that be better?
-
And let's face it the people who find this season a waste of time aren't suddenly going to find their voices again if we get back in the Premier League.
-
I think after a while some (I stress some) STH just go because they paid for it and they want to get their money's worth.

It's pretty crap. Even my Mum, who's 77 and a quite a typical humourless Leicestershire type, complains about the atmosphere. And just a lot of quite weird stuff too - like I said in the Stolarczyk thread, guy behind me at Millwall who was slating him non stop and said Ward was better. Someone a few weeks ago shouting "get it in the box you Chelsea twat" at Casadei. Who are these people?
-
Someone behind me at Millwall said he thought Ward was better!
