Best Leicester 11 of your lifetime (in terms of ability)

Flowers was quite comfortably better than Kasper imo, although obviously the latter has more legendary status. -

Two very talented players. Parker might be the best striker of a dead ball we've ever had. Was one of the best in England at the time. Lennon splits opinion for obvious reasons but is a Leicester legend for what he achieved and for how good he was. Was the engine of that team. -

Flowers Ricardo Kaamark Huth Elliot Fuchs Cambiasso Kante Izzet Mahrez Vardy Subs: Lennon Kasper Mancini (obviously the most talented but limited games) Tielemans Fofana -
Charming guy in front of me three years ago vs Spurs made a comment about Hitler having the right idea then offered me a haribo. Maybe it was the same guy.

Such a memorable match I feel like this is the first time I'm hearing about it

...found out a Leicester score or result from a game you forgot was being played? I totally forgot we were playing Derby on Sunday 26th April 1998 and switched on the radio relieved I'd only missed twenty minutes of it...

I'm his retro shirt he looks like someone I'd imagine posts in the Leicester pubs thread and is really into German second division football

Re the insanity that's taken over British politics I think that's what happens when a monolingual population with very little knowledge of the world around them comes into contact with social media.

I remember really enjoying the first season of Last Chance U a decade or so ago. Subsequent seasons weren't great. Thought it'd be some typical American cheese fest but it was genuinely one of the best sport documentaries I've seen.

Brexiters including Farage said they wanted more immigrants from the rest of the world and fewer from Europe. It's been done 'properly'.
-
It was very obvious in 2016 that brexiters wanted to replace Europeans with rights under EU law with non Europeans who could be paid less and exploited more. Don't really understand why people are surprised or even disappointed as EU migration is now net negative which is exact what they voted for.

Would be entertaining, just hope I'm watching it from a distance

Understatement of the year

For England Catholicism obviously. Hopefully they'll have us back. The Scots are a lost cause

We're talking hundreds sometimes thousands of years ago and that mixed genetic make up is no more significant than most comparable countries. The population of England from the middle ages til around the turn of the millennium was remarkably settled compared to most of Europe. We're not a melting pot, far from it

I wonder sometimes whether a British national team would have affected levels of British identity in the non Anglo nations. I sometimes felt in Italy it had that effect, though not in Spain so much.
-
One of the biggest fissures in European in the near future I think will be between those who see the nation along ethnic lines and those who see it as a proposition like in the USA. That split will be more pronounced in the UK than other European countries because it its current form is something of a relic of the pre WW1 era and because we're so influenced by America.

We need to dissolve the union for the sake of the English
-
England has historically had very low levels of immigration and been very mono ethnic and mono cultural compared to most European countries. That's why the increase in immigration in the last couple of decades freaked people out so much. The UK state is obviously multi ethnic but the differences between the nations is arguably quite small, arguably smaller than say between north and south Italy.

A lot of these sound like songs that kids in Russia would sing to learn English

Purely in football terms they are like the baddies from Star Wars. I've only ever met one Argentine and she was very nice.

Looking at him it probably is

Disappointed if they don't have a 'My Cremona' chant
