  1. True. And equally frightening (in a positive way!) that we could secure promotion as soon as next Tuesday. It’s a mad league. I’m done predicting any outcomes.
  2. Lloyd Dyer’s lad on the bench for Chelsea. Could maybe get a few minutes tonight if this one’s already in the bag
  3. Only just gotten involved with this pod. Gutted I didn’t catch on earlier in the season. Latest ep honestly kept me sane through a rough night with a whiny 1 year old. Absolutely top stuff @Ric Flair and the boys. Keep them coming
  4. Sensible decision. 15 seconds to go, there was no way the fans were getting off the pitch then
  5. Top scenes in Leverkusen. What a side.
  6. That’s dirty by Firmino. Knew exactly what he was doing
  7. Was thinking that. There’s been no stoppages apart from two breaks for substitutions.
  8. “Michael! That’s a fvcking foul” One of the main things I miss about Covid football is hearing managers and players say a bunch of shit
  9. We always do this. Nervy 15+ incoming.
  10. Faes omfg. What’s he doing?
  11. Greta goal. Now get Vardy on and keep going. Don’t sit back!!!
  12. Daka off for Vardy. I know he missed loads on Friday but he seems far more present than Daka. I’d imagine they’ll pile up a bit more on Fatawu second half and we’ll need more outlets.
  13. Doyle and Ricardo back is good but I’m unsure about Daka over Vardy. More than anything, we’re crying out for leadership to stop the rot and of the three leaders in our squad, two are on the bench and one isn’t in the squad at all. Could be nasty if we start badly and the fans get vocal about it. I’m not sure anyone in this XI has the guts to overcome such adversity should it occur. Fingers crossed.
  14. To be fair to Piper he says “Three defeats in a row, I don’t even think we had that at home under Rodgers” Unless we had a terrible run in the decent seasons, he’s actually right. The numpties were in charge for Villa and Bournemouth, so that torrid form of 4 successive home defeats was part Rodgers, part prize winners.
  15. Fair ****ing play to them.
  16. Were Derby really worse than these? They’re absolutely honking.
  17. Have a good one tonight! Nice one, man. My wife and I are flying to London for an extended weekend in October and it happened to be when The Libertines are playing Roundhouse, so had to bag a few tickets for that. First time I'll be seeing them live
  18. It’s frustrating. It’s raw. But I honestly think we will be fine. Tonight we completely bossed the in-form team in the league for 80 minutes. We had a perfectly good goal disallowed. We missed mega chances. The latter is on us, but I think my point still stands. Had they rolled over us and won 4-0, I’d be way more worried. They got three goals from a mistake, a double deflection and a deflection. It’s a huge stroke of luck, really. Having said that, it is alarming that we always tend to do this. We throw it away. When they scored, I was 100% sure that they’d score again. It seems to happen time and time again, and that’s why I absolutely can see why people think we’re soft and weak. But in terms of the bigger picture, I just cannot see us bottling this. Not based on how we played for the majority of tonight’s game .
  19. Been saving this absolute bucket list of a beer for a special occasion. Tonight seems fitting. Come on lestahhhhhh!!
  20. Burnley are poor but Man City are clearly getting to the point where they will dominate the rest of the season. KDB is just too good. Gonna be scary when he actually gets to play with that big Norwegian lad
  21. It’s the post of a 5-star man that’s what it is.
  22. Loved Yuki. For me it's Neil Danns. Remember his rubbish app or whatever it was? He was always banging on about it and I even remember one game he had "Spitter2" on his undershirt in the EFL font
  23. Decent dipa for New Year’s Eve. Have another Soma in the fridge for the football later
