Recently, my wife became obsessed with San Jose Sharks and their young stars. Coupled with the fact that I’m feeling more and more out of touch with LCFC, I couldn’t help but gain affection for them as well. Just watched what was probably my first ever live ice hockey game this morning. I know extremely little about the history of the Sharks or the sport in general, so happy to be educated, but the kid Celebrini seems like an absolute superstar. That goal in the 3rd was special.

Two stops were mandatory this weekend. It's completely bizarre they didn't stop both cars under the safety car. The only slightly logical reasons I can think of is that they didn't want to pit both because double stacking would've been unfair on Norris, and they didn't want to pit one and not the other because of papaya nonsense.

There are a few fantastic tracks on there. The three singles, play it out, bread butter tea sugar all stand out for me. But a few of the others all sound very similar. I guess I’m missing a bit of variation. Not a bad album at all, but it’s nowhere near as good as Blue Weekend.

My 5-year-old loves fantasy so tried showing him Ocarina of Time earlier in the summer and he loved watching me play through it. Moved onto Breath of the Wild now which is a lot more slow paced but still quite magic for him. For the record, I think the replayability of that game is quite poor. We’ve been drawing bosses from the Zelda series, watching videos of boss fights and it has mostly just reminded me how criminal it is that Twilight Princess is the ONLY home console Zelda game we can’t play on Switch 2. Fvck, that game is so so good.

Got three weeks off work now so decided to buy it on the back of those reviews. Very fun so far! Not at the same level as Super Mario Odyssey, but still great in its own right. Kids enjoying it too which is always a major plus.
