  1. Couple of mates of mine make these beer advent calendars every year, so it’s been 24 days of sensational beer for me. DIPAs from the US, Cantillon lambics, barrel-aged stouts etc. Not gonna lie, it feels kind of empty now that it’s over, but probably a good thing really int it
  2. Great player and seems like such a character too. Needs to work on his decision making but that’ll come as he develops. A really promising talent and I hope we sign him permanently!
  3. Got away with one there Fatawu. Mind you KDH was onside at the beginning of the second half. Firm believer that all that stuff evens itself out
  4. I know we think they’re annoying but it’s a hell of a season they’re having for a promoted side. Fair play to them.
  5. Villa looking brilliant against City. Such a scoop for them getting Emery. I’m happy we have Enzo, but I think we could’ve picked up Emery if we’d have sacked Rodgers around the time Villa sacked Gerrard.

    Dogs

Tonnes of snow in Denmark these days and the big fella is loving it. Having a dog is a huge responsibility but honestly most the time it’s like therapy. They’re just the best.
  7. Pokemon Let’s Go is very accessible for kids that age. I’d imagine that’d be a huge hit if he’s into Pokémon. Apart from that, Mario Odyssey, Mario 3D World and Mario Wonder are all excellent games (even for adults) where you can co-op your way through the adventure. I think the latter two even have characters that can’t take damage, which makes it a bit more accessible for kids.
  8. https://www.nintendo.co.jp/corporate/release/en/2023/231108.html didn’t know where to put this… live-action Zelda film in development. I want to love the idea but I simply can’t see how it can be any good
  9. Spurs’ high line is an amazing watch at the moment. Fair play for not parking the bus!
  10. Right, on Saturday evening the kids are out, wife is out, so it's a rare evening in on my own. I've already got the beers in and I was hoping Viaplay Denmark would show the match, but they're showing Cardiff-Norwich instead I'll be on my way home during the match, so can anyone who's purchased a one-match thing on FoxesHub tell me if you can rewatch the full video feed after the match is finished? Or is it only available live? Also, if you have any tips on how the hell to navigate lcfc.com to find said video without having the result spoiled, please share
  11. No. VAR does a lot of things right but I don't like not being able to celebrate a goal like mad as soon as it hits the back of the net. For me, that little delay takes away the immediate joy and relief of celebrating a goal - arguably the best thing that can happen during a football match. Casadei's winner against Cardiff the primary example I can think of this season. It was so nice knowing that no idiots in a little caravan were gonna examine it to death. Iheanacho vs Everton a few seasons back is probably the counter argument to this, since VAR pretty much gave us that moment. But as I said, it does a lot of things right, but ultimately, it's not for me. As Stan said, don't implement it throughout until the Premier League have got it right.
  12. More points between us and Leeds in 3rd than between Leeds and Rotherham in 22nd
  13. Disagree with this. I think the two scenarios are more or less incomparable. First of all, the difference between 4th and 5th meant different competitions which affected potential contract extensions, the calibre of players we could attract and brought in less money. Not to mention how it shattered the players to go through that experience two years in a row. If we finish 2nd this season, we will basically win the same prize as 1st, apart from a nice trophy we’ve already won 7 times before. We would probably still be a more attractive PL proposition for potential incomings than, say, Ipswich given our facilities, recent history and probably finances. If Ipswich beat us to the title, I can’t see it affecting the players’ mentality or confidence one bit as long as we achieve our main target of promotion. I get that we have the best squad in the league, but Ipswich are a quality side too and they’re potentially only 2 points behind us after their games in hand. Do I want us to obliterate this league and break all the records? Yes, of course. But I’d 100% snap your hand off for 2nd right now and I wouldn’t even remotely compare finishing 2nd this season to blowing CL qualification in 2021.
  14. Only a couple of levels in but yeah it seems pretty cool. Very creative!
  15. I think I feel that way about Youri. I’m genuinely happy for Madders that he’s doing so well and I hope Barnes succeeds at Newcastle, too. Shame we put ourselves in such a weak position that we couldn’t get more for Madders because he’s obviously a top player.
  16. Sorry for being pedantic, but I think he’s actually number 3 as he’s behind Rønnow from Union Berlin too. That said, Mads is an excellent talent and if we go up and he continues to be a huge presence for us, then it’s a matter of time before he becomes Denmark’s number 1.
  17. Did I imagine this or did he say in his pre-match presser that he’d worked specifically with our wingers during the international break? Today, Mavididi and Fatawu were probably our two most threatening players. Mavididi in particular seemed to find his Southampton form, Abdul obviously bagged a goal but apart from that he was also very involved and keen. Great to see if the extra work with our wingers is paying off already! God I love Enzo.
  18. wow, quality! that was after matt sharp's departure, right? I can never remember when he left the band. I saw them in hamburg in 2019 and it was top. played about 7-8 songs from blue including a barbershop version of buddy holly as well the best pinkerton bangers. Definitely the most charming gig I've been to. sorry for spamming the thread, everyone, but instant respect for anyone who loves a bit of weezer
  19. absolute banger of a song and probably my favourite on the album. takes me back to the uni days blasting that tune in the friday bar and drinking cheap beers without a care in the world. unbelievable times
  20. i think this is my favourite ever album. one of the first I turn to when it's summer and times are goooood
  21. I genuinely forgot about that 8-0 against Moldova. That’s what two kids and a terrible World Cup campaign do to you. Let’s hope we can finish the job with a good performance against Slovenia, but the feel-good factor around Hjulmand and the national team that blossomed during Euro 2020 seems to have completely evaporated. Granted, every game at Parken is a sellout but since Qatar, there seems to be a real lack of faith in Hjulmand and his team. Really hope we can reignite that spark and create that magic connection between the team and the fans. Summer 2021 was so special!
  22. I wouldn’t put it past them. I don’t recall Denmark putting many goals past any of these minnows in recent years. We always tend to scrape through them without impressing whatsoever. Regardless of the outcome now, it’s an embarrassing night for Hjulmand and the players.
  23. San Marino just equalised against Denmark
  24. Absolutely lovely pour from Equilibrium after an insane day with the kids. Cheers, everyone 🤝
  25. I’m quite sure they’ve got it wrong because such is the standard of refereeing in the Premier League. However, going off of this screenshot that’s doing the rounds, you can’t actually see the ball. Is there a chance that the pass took place milliseconds after this frame, which in all fairness could make it a clear and obvious offside, hence the lack of lines and uncharacteristically quick decision making? Personally I don’t think so. Since this was the frozen image shown to audiences in the stadium and around the world, it’s surely because it’s the precise moment the pass took place 🤷🏻‍♂️ Regardless, shit like this makes me happy that we don’t have to deal with VAR this season.
