  1. With the arrival of Carranza, there's no more hiding, Patson. It's make-it-or-break-it-time. We can't use another near-scoreless season. If he doesn't deliver until the end of the year, he should be shipped to another club (provided we have offers).
  2. Graham Greene. For me, he was THE face of Native Americans on the big screen. The Oneida people, Canada and the world have lost another great man. https://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/graham-greene-obit-1.7622757
  3. Potentially an option during the next January transfer window, I suppose.
  4. Great move for James – and Winks needed competition. Hopefully, this will get the best out of both of them.
  5. As long as Faes is still here, Nelson won't get past a Belgium international. I suppose the same goes for Souttar in the case of Vestergaard. And Kristiansen and De Cordova-Reid ought to find another club, too.
  6. Stolarczyk Ricardo/Choudhury Okoli Vestergaard (yikes) Thomas Mavididi James Skipp Fatawu Ramsey Carranza Subs: Begovic, Faes (yikes), Ricardo/Choudhury, Soumaré (yikes), Winks, Ayew, Monga, Daka (yikes) Looking a lot better, albeit maybe a bit "lightweight" in terms of defenders.
  7. Maybe it's because the Continent is an hour ahead? EDIT: And it's on their official FB page.
  8. Also, you know it makes sense. Cremona is where Stradivari died (and where he was likely born). #stradivardy
  9. Another hint dropped by Cremonese...
  10. There's stil potential for a few big earners to leave, the transfer window in Saudi Arabia and Turkey is still open. Let's pray for Daka, Faes and Soumaré. And maybe even for Kristiansen. If all of them would leave, it'd be a 9/10 for me. If one or two would leave, a 7.5, 8. So far, I'll give it a solid 7.
  11. Plenty of transfer windows still open. Including Austria. Hello, RB Salzburg.
  12. Well, this thread was a bit premature...
  13. When was the last time we signed three players on the day the transfer window closed?
  14. Once we were known as the Ice Kings. From hereon, we shall be known as the Loan Kings.
  15. Even better, we have two Jordans at the club now.
  16. WHY SO MODEST? THERE'S PLENTY MORE HOLES TO FILL!
  17. CAN'T YOU HANDLE THE EXCITEMENT OF LATE TRANSFERS??
  18. What's the status on Golding? Any potential? I've read we paid £5m for the lad.
  19. In all honesty, if we manage to sell some more of the culprits from last season, Rudkin will have redeemed himself to a certain degree, there's no denying that. At least somebody is taking accountability. Of course, some would've rather seen him walk away from the club (myself included). Can't say I'm not pleasantly surprised how this transfer window has turned out so far. Coady gone Ward gone Hermansen gone (for decent money) Ndidi gone (for good money, before his contract expires) El Khannouss gone (on a permanent next summer; for potentially very good money) Justin gone (for decent money) McAteer gone (for good money) Coulibaly gone (probably for good) Alves out on loan (for some experience) Letting Iversen leave on a free was a bit of a bummer, though, same case for Praet and Iheanacho.
  20. When he claimed how excited he was signing for Chelsea. Turns out he's a bit shit at geography.
  21. Did you just tell on yourself?
  22. ... that need to be loaned out and/or sold. I concur.
  23. Woyo "Who" Coulibaly. Buon futuro con il Sassuolo. Hope it turns into a permanent (just like with El Khannouss).
