"Patson Daka is an experienced striker."
-
Management thought Vardy would stick around forever. Management thought it'd be a great move to put faith in Patson Daka for a fifth season, despite his atrocious scoring record and amateurish ball control in the previous four. £23m for that!! Management thought it'd be great to secure the services of Jordan Ayew, who has an equally bad scoring record, and have the manager(s) play him as a striker instead of a winger. Management thought that'd be enough in terms of strikers. Why bother looking for replacements and/or additions? Blame management for lacking foresight. Blame bad management.

In all honesty, we actually need an entirely new team, with plenty of professionals as an imperative.
-
Imagine in 2020, you'd be told as a Leicester City fan, your starting XI would consist of Skipp and Soumaré in the middle, Jordan Ayew up front and Choudhoury as right-back. This is one of the most underwhelming LCFC matchday squads in about 15, 20 years.

That‘s Faes gone then.

How is the Birch these days? Heard he'd been struggling with his health in recent years. I wish him a Happy Birthday. Legend.

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official
MC Prussian replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
All the best with the Tractor Boys, Kasey. The transfer comes a bit premature for my liking, should've been given at least another year. Sentimental factor also plays a role here, homegrown talent and all. Investing the money wisely is key now. -
Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
MC Prussian replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
Make it happen, for a decent transfer fee. Remember, he's a Belgium international. -
Olympique Marseille place Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe on the transfer list, after an altercation in the dressing room following defeat against Rennes. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cy4dwj9wpyxo

Ex Machina. Underrated.

Something of a 4-5-1, or a 4-6-0. Stolarczyk Justin (for how much longer?) Faes (hurts to say it) Okoli Thomas Fatawu Skipp WInks Mavididi El Khannouss Ayew (lacking any other option that even comes close to a striker) Bench: Whomever's good enough, and not limping.

Strangely enough, I really like Bradford's new home shirt:

I'm so excited for the next foreign national holiday celebration.

Well, good luck, I say. The only way is up – or sideways.

Takeover approved. Very glad for the fans. https://www.itv.com/news/granada/2025-08-17/morecambe-fc-suspension-lifted-as-panjab-warriors-takeover-approved So, does that mean they're allowed to enter the league and participate in the season?

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
MC Prussian replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Played rather selfishly yesterday, tried too hard, failed with dribblings, got caught up front. Not for the first time, I may add. He's a flair player played out of position, works best behind a striker – if we had one. -
-
17 league goals in 4 seasons with us, not a single goal in a cup competition so far. For a striker, that is appalling. Especially for one that cost £23m.
-
I watched a couple of talented wingers trying to win a football match against Preston, and about half a dozen players in our side who couldn't wait for the final whistle. We're short of identification figures, we're lacking heroes, so to speak. Also: The away shirt does indeed look like a training top.
-
Daka's talent also includes standing in the way of teammates' shots.
-
Bunch of amateurs in midfield and defense. Should never give the ball away that easily.
