  1. Often forgotten Cooper was afforded one of our great gross spends in the history of LCFC with FFP concerns and a less than impressive hit signing ratio at Forest
  2. On a point per game basis, yes but that made no allowance that we had to play most of the top half before Cooper left If we compare like for like opposition, it’s literally equal. Cooper got three points v Everton, Palace & Spurs Ruud got three v the same three opposition. Cooper’s rare decent win v Bournemouth, see Ruud’s win v West Ham. Which pretty much leaves Cooper’s results propped up by the four points v Ipswich and Sourhampton. In midst of Cooper’s performances, they were two awful displays v Man United and the often forgotten stinker at Walsall in the Cup
  3. There’s a couple I’ve have had which have scary and effectively they mimic a stroke. The fissures over your eyesight are like being on LSD
  4. So Verner my Hammarby man has come good. Tickets go on sale to members for Hammarby v DIF and he's told me all sorted. He's adamant it's £15 and next to the VIP area. I've looked up and the most expensive season ticket equals to £22. That's in one of the worlds highest cost of living cities !
  5. I suffer from hemiplegic migraines - always scary. I felt okay all of yesterday, did my lunchtime run which admittedly was high intensity but felt fine after lunch etc Then bang, the aura begins, eyesight all over the place and then the loss of feeling to one side with a dose of confusion, slur words. They are torture until they subside into a dull headache. I managed to catch early yesterday so I got the medication down me asap Today I am in a right migraine hangover/postdrome. Body feels fatigued and struggle to concentrate.
  6. Is it? Spain will have the same number of teams in the CL QFs as England There's a huge load being made of this but England on the coefficients is still number 1 for the year. PSG are a different kettle of fish to anyone else in Ligue 1. If we look at likely teams in the Q/Fs of European competition; which includes a few 50/50s between Sociedad v Man U & Roma v Bilbao England 4 Spain 4 Germany 3 Italy 4
  7. I’d say the players most certainly deserve some of the stick. They are compliant to standards dropping with disrespectful behaviour common at least twice a season.
  8. Reports are that Forest’s atmospheres have dropped right off
  9. There’s no longer than the transient nature of the football ground which aids someone to go from family stand to passion sections to better views/more sedate The club and more top level football as a whole has turned their back on a generation of fan because they aren’t the demographic they can milk for revenue. It’s not surprising that crowds are growing lower down the pyramid, where it’s affordable, doesn’t involve a membership scheme and there’s scope to not be watched by survelliance
  10. AT the very least Vichai was capable of admitting error and in the process returning back to Pearson for example. Equally he must have listened to someone on that as well. So unlike his son, he often learnt from mistakes and was willing to seek good advice.
  11. It's got very little to do with football and rather finance. Man United simply drive higher revenues, have more collateral and can arrange finance deals with more assured hard cash.
  12. Incredibly difficult without actually reducing the capacity. One side of Old Trafford has a railway line
  13. Not too much talk of Souttar. Personally I'd have in my preferred Championship XI but I really question his injury record now.
  14. Yep. Bit like how the opinion is altering on Justin
  15. He's in a very strong position at Chelsea given their position. Their fans are annoyed but like here....if the dollar is coming in, the club aren't going to care. He will have umpteen European clubs interested in him too.
  16. Effectively the difference between an international/test match ticket.
  17. We must be one of the earliest sellers of tickets in the country. Was up for going but the game looks a dead rubber.
  18. Ironic really given the very catty statement made by LCFC upon his departure. Almost if both parties are trying to make up
  19. Youve said what I didn’t need too. It’s clear it’s his own personal preference because I suspect any focus group woukd say more footy, less chat. You’d have to look at how many people leave their TV at half time of live games
  20. Experience with Ryanair - wholly dependent on your fellow passengers and your destination. Had some very, comfy easy flights when it’s somewhere like Bilbao or Turin. Ryanair compact the market with Malaga etc type flights and unsurprisingly they are hell. The worst budget airline is Wizzair.
  21. Unsurprisingly, whilst not the brightest, he was one of the most upset players alongside Barnes over our relegation supposedly
  22. That’s what you get when you let a nepobaby make decisions like occurred here
  23. It was a QPR team with 9 changes
  24. I think it leads into a whole wider point about tourism. There's a commercial race to find the next place to visit which tourism has not homogenised. You only have to look at how Albania has gone in the last five years for this. Ultimately it's a tough balance for a lot of cities and resorts - you want to improve the economy but not at the expense of the locals and authenticity. I am no better - when I research places to visit I am looking for the area which has probably in reality gentrified or has yet to be touched. The EDTs sit wrong on me on terms of relaxation - to counter Deb's point, I'd normally at least stay over a night even in the UK. I am fortunate enough to afford that but I suppose my thought process has been if you can afford something, wait and save that little bit more for something better.
