Stoke has some decent pubs in my experience - largely due to the Staffordshire breweries such as Joules & Titanic. I am reliably informed Bradford isn't bad. In terms of smaller setttlements. Halifax is a town what punches above its weight. Worcester I enjoy. Lichfield is great for somewhere so small. Bath's dog shite IMO. When it comes to affluent locations.

I am talking relative to size/population. Wolverhampton is another massive stinker for the city of its size. One great pub IMO. Places such as MK or Colchester are pub Chernobyl.
