The American sports market is at a very interesting crossroads. As Soccer builds population, awareness is larger, they have been charging a fortune for Copa America games at the moment but no one is buying tickets for the games between the lesser teams because the ‘consumer’ now knows that this isn’t value. Predictions the same may happen at the WC2026 as well.

Just been Wrocław on my stag - hideously under-rated city. As good as anyone I’ve been in the central bloc. Fly from EMA. Cheap as chips. Some great bars. Food halls. Good weather. Lovely river and square

Jake Duffy ended up at Aylestone Park. Hard to know if that’s dollar inspired or cos he’s becoming a player-coach

Deep, deep, deep. Midfield is an absolute wreck Get up the ****ing pitch -
Positives on the impending Cooper appointment

Don't check Guillem's twitter -
Strongly disagree there - continuity in our circumstances is/was massive. Particularly as the club has to cut its cloth over the summer

Dan on here has got it spot on. Rafa Benitez to Everton vibes

Bournemouth fan at work when I mentioned said you might as well tell everyone to come sit in the away end when they don't sell out and get charged £30

Are you happy with Steve Cooper being appointed (as looks likely)?
CosbehFox replied to Tuna's topic in Leicester City Forum
No. Firmly believer in the Forest nonsense - he’s said as much Style of football that increasingly becomes wretched subject to form Don’t think it’s the sort of appointment which gets players interested in joining lcfc No invention by the board to think outside the box -
Bang on. I had someone on twitter say they were happy they were rewarding season ticket holders!
-
Yeah. Caused a revision of the prices.

West Ham United's fan groups have called upon their supporters to do the same as they have stopped concession prices for children and OAPs in certain areas of the ground. The latter being forced into the most inaccessible parts of the stadium (up huge stairwells) I think it's the way to go.
-
Find that sad to be honest. I know countless season ticket holders who can sustain £40 to £50 pounds a month and now they'd like to start taking their children to games. They can't because that's another £50 on top plus membership fees, plus any costs for moving your ST team for a game (or getting another adult to sit next to them). We've gone in this decision that being about c£60-70 to £100. A choice doesn't feel fair when it's all but forced upon you.

Kristiansen's best ever game in a City shirt was playing against Saka -
Don't give a fcuk about anyone but themselves. These decisions are hurting your next generation of fans so badly. The whole notion of taking your kids to the footy has just become a very rare treat.

The vast majority also concede he wasn't good for Premier League and hated his defensive tactics.
-
If he’s asking the club of financial reassurances, his position is correct. The last two last managers pretty accused the club of lying about it. We don’t have a good image within football.
-
What speaks against though is over the summer of 2023, the signings slow - more players leave and the turnover isn't as high while getting players with PL experience and World Cup winners. He then turns out 14 points from a possible 51.
-
Don't think that's particularly fair. Potter has heard the club out - (most likely to the background of people saying don't bother). He needs reassurances on the FFP situation and how structure of the organisation works. Now I suspect LCFC have been trying to clear those obstacles out of the way to reassure him. But when your last two managers complain about the financial situation and the guarantees made to them, you can see why the recultance may occur.
-
4 million reasons why
-
If we end up with Cooper, we will have effectively pissed x amount of weeks up the wall as Rudkin has been the main pusher for Potter (three times he's tried to hire him).
-
Tbf tho Stan - the rap sheet is tallying up now. From a plethora of issues affecting fans to really disappointing decision making (Vestergaard/Cooper if true). If we describe the relationship of a fanbase to an owner, as a thread of string or rope. It's well and truly running out now.

CT would agree with you but I repeat the statement when Enzo left. The Board will now commence the process of appointing a new manager that will lead our return to the Premier League and continue the implementation of our long-term vision for the success of Leicester City Football Club.
