Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

31st March 2024. Accounts overdue otherwise -
I don’t think a lot of us completely understand the operation of King Power. That’s before you even consider political pressure. However, there’s two parts to it for me. There’s Top and his lack of decision making or willingness to admit error. Then there’s a whole organisation underneath what don’t want to challenge or alter in fear of upsetting Top. You can attribute Top to footballing decisions and the other part to fan issues. I’d willing to accept the footballing mess if the club wasn’t so off the mark when it comes to fan engagement.

Tick tock, tick tock. Seven full days to release the accounts. Four working days -
The Harborough, Spalding and Anstey title race looks like it will go down to the wire. A lot of football to be played in that division as well

Second park run - 24:29 Slowly realising I ain’t that bad - breathing suggested there was more to give -
With the guys doing multiple destination trips, yeah these places are worthy visiting but in my opinion you don’t do somewhere like Florence justice visiting it for ten hours. Particularly in Italy where your time is best spent slow and bars/restaurants have breaks in the day. Both Florence and Rome of course dominated by tourists (bovril’s recommendations here are useful with Italy in terms of hidden gems)

The training ground situation is nothing new. That would have all been scrutinised in previous PSR calculations -

We’ve broken the rules. The argument we are making is what authority punish us. Whatever happens that PSR calculation is near certain to break the £105m limit. This is all postering to delay. -

PL have alleged it and they’ve never wrong on the PSR calculation argument to date. Everton and Forest both admitted that. We’ve entirely focused on the argument about what organisation is to punish us. LCFC are holding onto the accounts as along as they can because I suspect it will weaken their position of support from LCFC fans. We are getting punished whatever -

I shouldn’t be amazed that people are falling for the noise. This is like the fake news tactics used by politicians. Shout a lot about the punishments and their legitimacy with the league. In the process, there’s an ignorance to the very first genuine rule break. Ie. We busted the £105m PSR limit - there’s little to no argument on that point. If we still in the PL, we’d have minus four points and it would all be done bar an appeal. -

Every action occurring in the last 48 hours is underpinned that we failed FFP for this three year window, that's as good as fact. The club have never denied this or admitted to this. We are just delaying punishment with all this nonsense. Legal advisors must be chuffed. -

A hell of a gamble being successful this season. The consequences if it doesn’t happen are huge -

If they have, my error but as you say there’s 115 charges which include complex accusations of pricing bid rigging, sponsorship rigging and breaking age rules on transfers -

For the 600th time, Man City’s charges don’t have anything to do with PSR hence why they are being treated different -
I have just cited this within the Fans Forum thread. Last night was really good. Really constructive. The voices were just as much from the floor as from the stage. Personally I have enough of nil action and for that I am hypocrite, so we are going to try and make things happen. Our first port of call this morning has been for myself and others to join Foxes Trust. After all, this is the assigned supporters club in the eyes of the FSA which in the worst case scenario could be quite important. The democratic means of getting onto the board and articles of association are in position. Change won't be immediate - after all their AGM is on Monday and nominations have occurred. That will give time to learn, and see how we can elevate our voice. Challenge the trust's board to work harder on communication and relationship. I have no illusions the reputation of the Trust is low and commonly seen as a joke. We might have to alter goals as we learn. But it badly needs an update with fresh voices and a fresh outlook. The questions over the coming months need to be tricky and need to be tougher. We hope it never gets to that stage. A lot of the folk who have joined come from the background of Fosse Way etc. I'd encourage anyone if you can spend it, put a £10 in and have a chance to get your opinion over. We all have lives, so we all can't dedicate time to it but just a little bit of time will go a long way. We can help each other pick up the slack. If it fails, we go again and find the next avenue.

For pure clarity, I will make it clear I know some of the guys personally connected with UFS. I have gone away games with them. Chat to some of the guys regularly. I am not in the signing section and I wouldn’t call myself a member in anyway. I am going to talk in broad terms because obviously people will have said things in confidence to the room. For complete picture, LCFC were given the chance to send someone (no one came) and there was a Foxes Trust member in attendance. In a similar note, they suffered badly from drop-outs across the day. The initial part of the talk gave UFS the opportunity to display their aims, their successes, and their challenges. How essentially they formed as a group, grew as a group and their links to other foreign groups. They were more than willing to concede the presentation of their group hasn’t always been the friendliest and in the last three years, they’ve worked hard on being more inclusive. Hence events like yesterday and media stories etc. To highlight, on the three displays this year – they’ve been no more expensive than £1,600 and by comparison, the likes of Newcastle have spent £15k on a single display. The Food Bank was a huge success – over £1k was raised alongside the donations. I’d say it was about half through the talk when people audibly started to speak up – largely in support, if not entirely aligned. There was discussion on atmosphere, safe standing, stadium layout, and ticketing. My main take from it and it doesn’t just extend to Union FS is that the club’s communication between themselves and fan groups is very poor. There has been near silence for nearly two months now. For example, they are avoiding compliance to regulation in terms of fan involvement with the Safety Advisory Group. There is dissatisfaction on several points within the fan base. Union FS in many ways gave a stage for people to verbalise that. How that is harnessed for change I am not entirely sure of right now. Ultimately something needs to begin to happen – which supports UFS in their aims and gives a voice to legitimate fan concerns. Rightly or wrongly, they are viewed as the custodians of the singing section which should not be the case. They’ve fought for it but they don’t own nor do they claim to. They need help and the help doesn’t need to be through them. It can be alongside them. It was commented that the club appeared on the backfoot when Union FS and Foxes Trust united on the point of general sale tickets. This cross-group working can be successful. The idea of a fan group gives a chance to centralise efforts and energies. Several others and I have decided today to join Foxes Trust and begin firstly understanding how we start to do this. Their AGM is on Monday, so any immediate change won’t occur, but we can start to make our voice heard with a vehicle. Get some freshness heard and push on it from there. It’s a £10 – it’s Plan A, it’s a start. We don’t expect everyone to be of the same opinion. But we want to give people the platform and make the awareness required to do so. There are some excellent, educated people who follow this club from differing backgrounds. We aren't going to give up on making that voice louder - we find a way, errors might be made along that journey but I ain't giving up yet.

Worth mentioning as well Ipswich have achieved something we've got nowhere near Winners of an European trophy - and at that a trophy at the time which was probably the hardest to win.
