  1. Yeah he did. Went to be involved with Needham Market nearby too
  2. Not really. The UK is a rip off full stop. Cheltenham was £7.50 a pint last week. Food in the same region of the photo you shown. There’s plenty of good value places in London. Particularly food - if you willing to avoid chains.
  3. You don’t have to buy that muck. You can get a decent meal in London at good prices within 10 to 15 minutes of Wembley. Transport to London is cheaper because of more better availability. Every city hikes their hotel prices up for event days. The whole country is expensive
  4. I am interested as to why Wembley is more expensive in your opinion
  5. His relationship with Enzo is effectively client journalism - Wolves fans got very tired how Balague had a lot to say Lopetugui and effectively stirred the pot
  6. Scotland, Netherlands, Ireland, Minor Counties XI British Universities and Unicorns all appeared the 'Grouped' ODI comps. Denmark in the ODI Cup.
  7. Miss relegation one week, fighting for Europe the next. Belgian formats are super
  8. And if we 'could' defend. Seems there's ignorance in how poor our defending has become. The goals conceded bar the Ipswich games were shambolic.
  9. No-one outside Leicester would say 6th is a good season. We have the biggest budget in the league. We have internationals from England, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, Ghana and Nigeria. We have the best training facility in the league, if not top ten in the country. Every bookmaker had us in their top two teams for promotion for a reason. Leeds and Southampton have had to deal with 'messes' post relegation and manage their squads. Ipswich have done incredibly well with their resources to be in contention. There's nothing entitled, very optimistic or arrogant to expect a relegated side with the biggest budget in the division to finish in the top two. Even more so that it's apparent the club have gambled heavily on it financially.
  10. Defensive structure with same issues as last season in the PL. The team in transition becomes two units of 5. When the full backs decide to head out of their defensive shape. Then we have 7 in that forward transition. One of the reasons Enzo slows the game down in possession. One poor decision and suddenly teams utilise the space left by the full backs (inverted or not), the midfield becomes solely Winks and teams can just put the two slow defenders into the channels. The Championship teams are realising it too. Get the ball quick behind the full backs and get the centre defence isolated. If you use the press well too, you’ll catch Faes and Hamza out too.
  11. Alongside 6th all of sudden putting the club into a playoff lottery scenario and subsequent financial penalties to come
  12. I’d say points achieved is probably the most sure fire way of indicating how a team plays. You can create all the xG you like and defend to keep all the xG you like but if you finish poorly and defend on the break like idiots, then you lose points. Although the expected points model has had us at 2nd since Xmas Comments like you said we were the sort of stuff Spurs and Arsenal fans were coming out with in 2016 to give themselves a coping mechanism when we were not being reeled in.
  13. Because the form of last season 6th isn’t very good at all. Particularly in the context it was the lowest achieving points tally for the playoffs in ten years. Normally it’s mid 70s. You’ve used Leeds as a comparison and highlighted their superb form to say it’s rather their success rather than our own failure. In very simple terms if we look at the table from GW26. Leeds have made up 17 points Ipswich 9 Southampton 5 West Brom 7 These are fairly sizeable point gaps being dropped here - helped in a couple of examples of this weekend but still not a good trend. So at one point we start admitting it’s our poor form or everyone just getting better?
  14. Have joined a parallel universe called Spurs-16
  15. Exactly my thoughts - especially given all parties wanted a swift conclusion and the board devided to already take two points of the proposed punishment
  16. Similar to a Vardy esque surgery for it. He will struggle with that
  17. Don’t believe so in the starting XI.
  18. Still retained his directorship in a Russian oil firm until 2021
  19. I read Jersey get the points. Hilariously Horley is virtually Gatwick Airport
  20. Totally. More controversially I find the modern football is rubbish comments a bit tiresome on here. Because I don’t think 2016 happens without the big six bubble. LCFC don’t have the resources do find the players they did. We are as much of the machine as anyone else. We’ve created football this way by never objecting
  21. No that was May bank holiday.
  22. Disagree personally because it shows no understanding of clubs what can make it function without having to spend silly money. Luton, Brentford and Brighton - all good examples of playing to the rules and haven’t feel the need to do what Forest did. Football has a food chain - I’m aware of that and the FFP isn’t fit for purpose but the 20 (or 25 you could argue) of the PL need to be careful they aren’t making the gaps wider elsewhere in the chain. Citing ambition is one thing but is that to serious push on challenge the bigger clubs or purely pull up the drawbridge below them?
  23. I have had a long time dislike for the blogger Thogden but I couldn’t believe what I read about his dad https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/dont-criticise-putins-russia-1003176.amp
  24. That run on Saturday has well truly hit me in the illness steaks. Tried to get back into it post Half training and think I've pushed the body too hard.
