The consistent argument against the whole 'we are back where always were'. Unambitious, subservient nonsense that doesn't want the younger generation watching the club keep developing and playing top flight football.

You might be right but it doesn't explain the bloke's lack of engagement to anything fan based. -
If we go down, they will be a weird sub-section of the fanbase what enjoy the idea of being in League One cos they had such a good time nearly twenty years ago in the division. New grounds, 'we are loyal', all those toxic fans gone etc etc

Harborough with a favourable weekend. Spalding dropped points and it looks like Harbs might to be too far ahead of Real Bedford who are beginning to click but have so many games to catch up.

In the area Saturday, so went Atherton Collieries v Witton Albion. A ground with nothing to write home about. Except it was beautifully northern non-league. Sloping pitch which was a mud bath. A clubhouse which had about 80 people in it who never left the place whilst the game was ongoing (Bolton's 12.30pm kick-off helping matters there). A classic food outlet which specialised in pies, gravy and peas. Decent game too. Cracking division this - Northern Div 1 West. Lots of teams with traditional followings from Manchester and Liverpool. Witton formerly of the Conference and Atherton bit of more former contender. Some cracking grounds as well yet to do like Mossley. Got a spare weekend coming up - did think about Hastings but that's a long way without a weekend.

Sorry Dan didn't see this. It's a lot easier, there is a APEL number or something but for foreigners you just need to put your birthday or passport number can't remember now.

This ownership group is going to be a disaster. Absolutely awful for Morecambe fans of constantly feeling like their club is in danger

They’ll be a bizarre sub section within the fanbase what would enjoy it. New grounds, win a few more games, blah blah blah
-
I must say the idea that the fans are the problem is novel, if there is an existing split which is loud and ‘toxic’, it means they care. The other reality is way worse, pure apathy

Spoke to a couple of people in the club during August, and the general feeling on the ground was how important it was to get five or six in through the door to effectively wake the club up a bit / making the atmosphere better on the day to day at Seagrave. Need I say more

The optics of fly in, watch game, say manager safe, sack manager, media interviews, fly out. Still think he chose this game because Oxford have Indonesian owners. This includes Anindya Bakrie who was heavily rumoured to be initially involved around the King Power takeover and Erick Thohir who recently had a stake in Inter Milan. He fly in for that primarily and then everything else was wrapped up in it.

Charlton are in a right rut but they will have a set piece threat that we will struggle with. 1-1

Of course the irony to Top's view on Jon and his role in winning the PL is that the summer while we were champions. No Steve Walsh to look after the signings, so we went on the most random spending spree known to man.Paid far too much for Musa and SIimani. Threw some money at a lad what had 3 good games in an international competition.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Which will get even lower next season too. So I hate to be negative but the expense reduces possibly more. -

Approx £30k we agreed to move into an interest raising account as opposed to sitting there. That's why there's that uptick in £5k interest as the money took two lots of interest. I suspect the following things we are planning will see the funds begin to be utilised Making the end of season survey stronger - I'd like us to target 5,000. We managed 3,214. The club got just under 1,000 for their survey on the West Brom game. Fanzone or ground adjacent presence on a regular basis - we will need banners/display equipment. We are in the process of finalising a fundraising project with the community arm of LCFC. In conjunction with Union FS. That fundraising campaign will involve a run towards the end of season. Plans for event with an ex City personality - got really good people working on this. But we would have to carry some cost of the set-up. -

I’d say you are spot on but this was the first time in 20 years plus that people we were willing to join the board. The Trust needs people to step up to get that freshness going again and again -
The Rudkin stuff is utterly mindblowing and the PSR comments give you no confidence at all

Club in the midst of doing it. Further consultation coming out. Slow as anything. After an initial 90 minutes meeting where most were in support of a reform of it, the club survey afterwards had the high priority point scorers protecting the current system. I hope it comes out soon with the FCC minutes -

The FT account has three or four people running it (can’t remember exactly) -
The Stake Knife debacle another example. The issue with the Troubles is it’s still too fresh for many and people still be reluctant to talk given how people would disappear
-
Because the club won’t allow it and/or he doesn’t want to

Irony being Man City are now uber direct. Went to a shot saving keeper this summer. Use their wingers and full backs for crosses. Aim to get the ball as quickly as possible into Haaland whose the most physical striker going

He appointed someone with a CV of working in a call centre and within two months, the non playing staff didn’t pay as expected with 7 hours notice on their most important salary of the year. He lost me at any point of return personally then

You've also got Motherwell having a cracking season - they might be a factor. They've got Rangers at home and the other two area before the split.
