  1. Easy answer to the Covid point. Ben White was sold to Arsenal for over £70m and we had some of the highest revenue intakes as a club in our history
  2. Step aside from this, he’s got a track record of rebuilding a club post relegation. There aren’t many realistic targets who have had the experience of doing that. I’d take more on the job he did at Villa than that at Leicester
  3. Given every game we played in January was televised bar Oxford.......
  4. Personally think he has a CV which suggest he would be a good fit. Thinking of the job he did at Villa - sorting out a squad built by Bruce and getting them promoted. Also think his time at LCFC is harshly judged as well - other than the Fulham game, he gave it a good go and I am certain if he was in charge for that Bournemouth game, we'd have got the points.
  5. My respect for Winter grew when I heard in an interview that he attempts to reach out to various fan groups pre-game or charity drives, so he can have a chat with people about their club and get a proper feel for the fans feelings rather than reliant on others.
  6. A lot of whatboutery with Man City. Same logic would be a thief shouldn't be punished cos the verdict on the murderer isn't concluded.
  7. Don’t worry I’m sure as a fanbase we will be humble enough to stop singing ‘you’ll never win that’ The same crippling ‘history’ horseshit from Forest is now well and truly in. The Clockwork Orange montage of Wes lifting the trophy did its business
  8. Remember when he got all upset cos of banners. It’s what happens when you won’t trust football fans feelings about the very thing they obsessed about and take a corporate line
  9. The skeletons have got to be frightening. Throw in the Horse Racing too
  10. https://www.efl.com/news/2026/february/05/see-the-latest-sky-sports-tv-selections/ No televised coverage of Ipswich game on March 7. Probably recognising the decent chance of it being off cos of the Cup
  11. Aiyawatt have you told the directors that the small club in the Midlands have become a smaller club in the Midlands.
  12. I'd be more concerned with our decision to sign Ryan Bennett and subsequent end of season form rather than that.
  13. Before the 30th June I'd say as well.
  14. It's worth reading the report - some of defence is absolutely pathetic. Citing the need to sack the manager as a reason why we failed PSR but then paying Cooper & Van Nistelrooy in the combined region of pro rata £7m a year.
  15. the club haven't done this because the owner is more about saving face and not willing to concede. The call for siege mentality should have occurred at the start of last season. He's dim. But most of all, he's bound by the business culture of his geography. This will only go down once he's fully sunken the ship.
  16. The relevance is Everton and Forest's cases. They've gone through now with successful points deductions.
  17. We didn't just surpass the limit. We went an Oliver Skipp transfer over it at £20.8m. Now given how the allowance losses are calculated, that means the period inclusive of this year we've got reduce our losses from £103.8m to £61 million. The club is absolutely shagged
  18. Don't go expecting much more improvement on their proposed location for the new stadium!
  19. Considering pull out of Ashby 20. Just too much going on to dedicate the time for training.
  20. Wieden, 4th district
  21. Yeah - not much as changed in terms of interior at all. The bloke behind the bar as well had genuine landlord vibes - took the piss out of someone having Guinness and Black.
  22. Especially when the idiot what broke a lads jaw at Sheff United for singing anti board songs was a former UKIP councillor candidate
  23. Did the Peak and Briton double on Friday in Manchester. Absolute zinger of pubs. I’d rate the Briton over the Peak though
