Premier League 2025/26 Thread

Should have never sacked Nuno, I think he stays they wouldn't be in a relegation scrap. They had slow start but of course things behind the scenes didn't help. -
Premier League 2025/26 Thread

There's about six really bad teams in the premier league that deserve to be relegated, sadly however only three can go down. There was massive opportunity for someone to get decent result and climb up the table. Just to prove how bad each other are, all of them drew. Tottenham sadly had the best result of the weekend drawing away at Liverpool, but still leaves them in bang trouble. That Spuds and Forest should be some battle on paper, but how bad each other are. Could easily end up being a bore goalless draw. -

Nuneaton Boro played away at March Town yesterday, not vintage performance from ourselves losing 1-2. 86 minutes in a Boro fan took ill, luckily both physios were quick to react. Five minutes later ref blew up abandoning the game. Most likely the result will stand. The supporter is thankful okay after a night in hospital. Attendance was never announced but looked a good following from nuneaton around 200 at least for what apparently is our furthest away day of the season. Nice setup at March. They attempted to semi segregate... try and work that out. Ironically staff from March used the term "nuneaton brought too many fans" 🤨 not we underestimated how many away fans would travel. -
I thought watching on main event would escape watching the two morons from hollywood sadly every five minutes the camera pans on them in the commentary box. Come on Swansea! Imagine if the Swansea fans sang "Ryan Reynolds is in the Epstein files" would love him to respond to that lol.

If ever watched clips of 1934 Olympics when Hitler was in power of then nazi Germany. Alot of that event was to showcase the power that Nazi's and Hitler had. Not saying USA are anywhere near as bad as the Nazi's but think about similarities of what happened in that Olympics and what were getting in the upcoming world cup and Olympics to follow. Also guess where fifa awarded world cup to be hosted in 1940...
-
If USA somehow win the world cup, that would prove it's defo rigged tournament.
-
Problem there would be there is already enough uefa nations.
-
You would assume so, just hope this is not Fifa's loophole to reintroduce Russia into the world cup. UAE were in the same group as Iran and finished high so they could take there place.
-
Vardy needed to move on both for us and himself, he probably should have left in 2024 when we got promoted last time to at least end on a high.
-
I think the target for survival is 50 points minimum this year. 9 games left do you think we can get those 12 points to stay up.
-
That's strangest appointment they probably ever made, in a dog fight at the bottom and bring in a manager with no experience of english football and expect him to keep a team in the division. Even though it would be unambitious by Tottenham I would have understood them bring say Big Sam in a short term as he's got experience in being relegation scraps, not impossible he may get the call from Tottenham. However longer Tudor stay better for rest of us for a good laugh lol.
-
Tottenham just seem to self district, they have had so many decent coaches go in there and just blew it.
-
Won't surprise me Tottenham make yet another management change, they just seem to got even worse under Tudor. The talk about Redknapp and Hoddle going seems extreme. Redknapp is 79 and hasn't managed nearly nine years and Hoddle more like 20 years. It wouldn't surprise me they go back to someone like Ryan Mason on a interim, he's done it twice before.

LCFC 2-0 Bristol City, post-match thread
Leicesterpool replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
We won at home 🥳 Great performance! that for once we seen a 90 minute performance. Kept a clean sheet was a massive boost. Nelson was MOTM great scoring header and was so solid at the back. For the team this needs to be standard we need to raise each week, performance like that we will stay up. -
IF (a big if) we stay up under Rowett, do we keep him on?
Leicesterpool replied to LCFCCHRIS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Depending how we stay deffo deserves a chance. Maybe what the club needs more of back to basics coach. -
Vile human being, his whole family are crooks.
-
He's only played twice but he is with a struggling league one team. Also Kevin Nolan just been sacked there who brought him in.
-
Pink never suits Leicester neither does red, Leicester traditionally should either be playing in Yellow or White for an away strip. I always loved the away strip from the 2010-2012 the all yellow looked so smart.
-
I would just rather a youth player gets the chance in his place, we never should have let someone like Jake Evans out on loan. This would have been his chance to showcase what he can do.
-
So America walks away having started it all, leaving the middle east bombing each other.
-
Has Trump ever admitted he got anything wrong? I somehow doubt at some point he will ever say we never should have attacked Iran. Winning the war? eh? when Turkey his nearly hit and missiles still heading for UAE. At times he sounds like Putin when he first invaded Ukraine, claiming Russia was doing very well and in matter of days they'd be in Kyiv, four years later the war is still on going and Russia still no closer to Kyiv. World full of mad men.
-
It's not just about going in there bombing Iran, no leave that to Americans and Israeli's dig themselves into that mess but still have a duty to protect the nearby nations, one being Cyprus where UK base is present.
-
Sadly the trouble at old firm derby showcases sadly why we will never see Celtic and Rangers ever play in the English league.
-
Starmer is too much of a coward, hence why he's done barely anything about the middle east. Wouldn't surprise if that warship at Portsmouth as been ready to go for months, but Starmer is delaying it in hope it won't be required.
-
Even though we haven't won yet, in his four games in charge we have only lost once which is mass improvement leading to his appointment. Stopped the losing streak and managed to get points off two teams who are second and third in the league away. Still in a mess but I do feel progression is there, but until we win we're still hopeless. I like to think that first win will be a huge spring board too boost confidence and begin a good run.
