Best way forward id say is see hinckley afc and leicester road merge. Seems pointless having both battling against each other. Afc Hinckley United at Leicester Road i can see being a much better project and attracting the fans back. Hinckley afc have been playing outside of town for too long... i fear the same with Nunny Boro if we dont return to the town within the three year target.

What helps Kettering Town, some results went there way, Telford were battered away at Stratford Town. So inconsistent I've noticed Telford, despite their league position they have took a few beatings. Former Boro boss Wilkin, I know isn't popular there at the moment.

I think it was mentioned over a week ago he was going to be unavailable, sounds like his condition as worsened.

I would agree but clubs going 4g are trying to avoid getting less games called off. Annoying thing for clubs like what happened Sutton Utd, they had to go back normal surface when they get into efl. If honest more funding probably needs to come into place to help clubs convert. I do think this is the best way for clubs going forward. No doubt Spuds will complain about the 4g pitch at Tamworth next week.

That one of the line in the first half, who knows 2-0 at the break long way to come back for Walsall, who today may say that wasnt there best performance but still come from behind and won. -
Tbh the squad in 2002, was even worse than the current lads and they got a result at Villa. Think Villa had some decent players at the time Angel, Vassell (future fox), Barry, Mellberg, Hitzleberger, Hendrie (another future fox) cant remember if boateng was still there then. He was good at mboro.

Game of two halves, notts county fully in charge first half but ran out of steam second half. -
Yeah.... 😒

I remember 2001, we were rock bottom in December of that year without a single away victory. Villa were sixth only one defeat at home... somehow we won 2-0!

Mark Robins would be a decent appointment for Stoke. West Brom i think would make a mistake missing out on him. -
1-2 i think we will give Villa a game, but my thoughts are we will be 0-2 down before we actually start getting into the game. There draw against Brighton didn't help. meant theyll be really up for this.

Leicester not playing, nunny boro not playing....so looked at local fixtures... options limited it found one game Notts County v Walsall 3rd v top, should be interesting. So heading over to meadow lane. -
I admit i hated when teams fortified they home advantage to play at the away ground. Farnborough v Arsenal sticks out in mind. Felt like Arsenal bribed there way to host the tie. Any how i do admit i like seeing big named players being forced to turn out at a non league ground. Remember the amount of security Arsenal hired at sutton united.
-
I suppose, unless a club did a deal where the venue hosting. Like say Villa Park, hosted this. They were would be able to attract say 30k. Give Spuds an allocation of 10k. Least they get a decent allocation, in return Tottenham pay for the staff costs. £20 a ticket for adults, £10 for kids youd see a decent crowd.
-
Alternative option could have been playing this at bigger nearby venue to capitalise on this i suppose. Maybe at Walsall, capacity like 12k. Then again Tamworth do lose the home advantage
-
Think the fa need to step in with Tamworth outrageous ticket price. They are trying to charge premier league prices to cash in. £42 for a non league team is not acceptable. £30 should have been max.
-
It's a pity the team don't travel in by coach for home games, so we can great an atmosphere like this pre match.
-
2-2 draw!
-
Not watching so relying on updates... winning 1-0! but daft as it sounds if point now is on offer i'd take it, just so we get something from anfield, the confidence would so massive going into that Man City fixture. Long, long way to go.

George Eliot (Nuneaton) Derby seen a Boro a win over Nuneaton Griff, 2-0 win in front a crowd of just over 1,200!. Griff usual attendance is normally around 50 so they certainly made decent sum in admission and bar takings. Score line flattered Griff, should have been 3 or 4 nil in first half. First game playing back in Nuneaton since October 2023. Very foggy affair, visibility at times was an issue with the fog especially with the racetrack around the ground.

I remember two seasons ago West Brom were very keen on appointing Wagner wonder if they will try again. -
Wallace and Gromit is a pat on the back for aardman. 1hr 20mins long never felt over stretched. Good plot, good story and actually a unpredictable twist. Certainly worth the 16 year wait. I do admit at times i did miss Peter Salis trademark voice, new voice does sound similar but doesn't quite hit Salis. Advice to nick park, two or three years bring Wallace and Gromit back!! Too good for these long gaps. Its incredible to think in the six wallace and gromit stories they are yet to have a flop.

Boro returning to Nuneaton... well for 90 minutes at least, boxing day derby at Nuneaton Griff. Expecting 2k to be present which will be the record for griff, last biggest attendance i think was in 2014 and it was 800 against Salisbury in the Fa Vase. Its weird an away day as such which closest to my house.

Louie Barry returned to Villa after a decent loan spell at Stockport. Still young, worth a go maybe?

If you cant get in an championship team what chance being considered good enough for premier league.
