Maybe this game will be like the Tottenham fa cup game of the 'great escape' season. Got little hope...

It's was weird we were bottom of the league at christmas without being bad I mean to be bottom of the league and to be two goals down at Anfield and to come back to get a 2-2 draw you can't be that bad, we were just unlucky. But suddenly our luck changed, that late goal against West Ham sparked something truly special that carried on until may 2016. What helped that was we had a lot of good experienced players that had confidence to turn it round. They never felt it was over, they knew they needed just that moment and once it happened we flew. Also interesting Marc Albrighton was not involved in the first few months, when we beat Man Utd 5-3. Albrighton said he was out with his family, just could get no where near the team.

Wow that would have been epic signing, even though he would been 34 or 35 still would be great option. Imagine if we had got Keane instead of Beckford and had Nugent and Keane has our main strike force. -

I'm sure we tried to get Freddy Eastwood from Southend United before he went Wolves, but couldn't met Southend's price tag. -
Yeah but did she really need to use the term 'white'. I expect she maybe found not guilty, think the courts will be scared of being accused of either being sexist or homophopic. Then its another can of worms. Notice known of her teammates are coming out in support. Some are waiting till after the verdict... then once shes found not guilty they will be pours of support.

Allen and Manadric working on a different wave, Allen said they signed around 13 new players over one summer, only four were like his recommendations. The other ones were like Manadric signings, every training session a new player would turn up. Eventually Allen just said enough and was turning new players away at the gate almost lol. -

Danny Mills admitted in 2001, he was supposed to go on loan to Leicester from Leeds after a bust up with O'Leary. Mills was apparently up for the move, but someone got injured at Leeds and the loan was stopped at last minute. -

Jimmy Floyd Hasslebank he was like 38 at the time just realised by Cardiff City. Manadric wanted him whilst Allen didnt. Contract all agreed turned up for his medical to be told by Allen that he wouldn't get in his team. So yeah within minutes headed back up the motorway. -

Tim Cahill was being linked I think around 2012, I think Cahill was like 33 or summit. I believe Everton were eyeing up Andy King, I think they may have a part exchange deal involved. For some reason deal fell through. Either Cahill got injured or didn't want to come. -

David Beckham, he was linked to coming almost every day Sven was manager. To be fair Sven, did try to bring him and Becks may have been tempted... if wasn't for Victoria... -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Leicesterpool replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ruud looked and sounded so beaten in his latest press conference. When talking about the different transfers figures to be made available prior to taking the job compared to when we reached January. I dont think he sounded pretty hopeful with this squad of players. I thought hed stick out to the summer, but im not sure he will now. -

I'd be interesting to know whose suggested it was to fire Cooper, was Top himself or Rudkin. In terms of hiring him, it sounds like a Rudkin/Whelan suggestion appointment. I can't imagine TOP was completely fully dreaming up Cooper as the perfect replacement for Enzo. We all know TOP really wanted Potter and no doubt even Rudkin and Whelan. Once Potter said "No thanks", it seemed like it was left to Rudkin and Whelan to decide. I always think you can tell what's been Rudkin suggestion similar transfers in terms of appointments, Dean Smith replacing Rodgers, Cooper replacing Enzo... I'm not sure about Ruud? if honest with it being high profiled name sounds more TOP decision.

Boro v Hinckley will be tasty plus Boro v Atherstone, we ain't played Hinckley in the league since 2012! long 13 years. Atherstone as well been around 16 years.

She comes across as nasty piece of work, even after this case is finished she will still be treated as 'role model' even though she's been accused of being a racist. If she's found guilty... are the WSL just going to sweep this under the carpet, I wonder?
-
He missed most of last season due to injury and the glimpses weve seen of him this year aint exactly set the world alight. I don't think he makes any difference to the team if hes there or not. Premier League is not his level at present. I'd rather have Sunderlands jobe bellingham.

Many will feel the same we could see a rise in attendance down at clubs like Barwell, due to poor ongoings at the foxes.
-
sell away he's not good enough in the top flight anyway.
-
Season tickets sales may suffer next season if we go down. Last time most fans remained due to it was that feeling the club would bounce straight back up... this time not so much. We could see a huge dip in attendances. Back to 22k what we used to get in the championship.

Get relegated, come back again, get relegated, come back again. Thats the plan, basically becoming that yo-yo club like Burnley.
