For me its getting the balance right. I think passing out of danger (when its safe to do so) is better than random aimless clearances, so no issue with that, and I understand about trying to lure in the press as well. We just need to get the balance right as over playing it is not a good thing (a lot of their chances came after we started over playing it at the back and they intercepted from defenders), it feels like in the last game, particularly second half we had a much better balance. The pace of the ball movement needs to be fast, we need to treat every opponent with respect (I feel this has contributed to some recent training session level performances), and be prepared to go direct to mix it up. If Enzo gets that balance right I think we could be going somewhere in the longer term.

So new strategy slow and steady first half let them feel comfy, then hit them hard after half time.

We played fairly direct second half, even for a while after going 4-0 up.

First half training session. HT elite level team talk. Second half proper aggression. Which then allowed Enzo to tinker at end, thats his award for getting at teams properly. Dont show any of them respect, and kill the game off please.

Did some quick maths on current form for rest of season. I know the form wont persist for next 27 games, but still. Leicester 91 Ipswich 94 Leeds 105 Southampton 104 Realistically I can see Leeds dropping to about 2-2.5 per game average from their current 2.5. Southampton a bit lower about 1.8-2.3. Ipswich improving back up to about 2.0-2.5. Finally us improving up to about 1.8-2.3. This would finish with about. Leicester 103 Ipswich 106 Leeds 99 Southampton 94

We have done it at times under Enzo, but some games we dont when I feel we needed to. This is where he has improved over Rodgers (aside also from his better execution of keep ball). But some of us have realised we are the opposite of progression right now, when you can see things are improving then its easier to be patient and see what happens, but things are regressing, is when I get concerned. For me the performances and flow of our football hasnt been right since after the Stoke game. -- On the subject of rubbish performances, it is a thing as an example some have a habit of blaming the players, we know its a big thing on foxes talk to pick out players to point the finger at, for me the buck always stops with the manager, if the team didnt perform, its on the manager, if a player makes mistakes, its the manager making that player do something they not comfortable with or a bad system that caused that player to make the mistake. Even in Rodgers final days, we had people blaming the players.

Yep all good, only took until December against a 10 man fellow promotion team.

One thing that will help (and also in the mens game) is to get rid of internationals during a season, I think the injury ratio for those games is higher then league games, I expect the travelling, change of training methods etc. all likely play a part.
