Our last game showed its about more than the line up. Hopefully we dont treat as a training session until the game is put to bed.

If you expect us to score every chance, then I will counter saying we should have scored 10 in the second. We scored more in the second half as we played more effectively, simple as that really.

If we talking a decade to get one stand done, it needs to be more ambitious than 40k. We filling the stadium in the championship, have a season ticket waiting list, and were not able to take advantage of our increased exposure from our stint in the EPL due to the stadium capacity, 40k will probably be immediately strangling us, 32k in 2023 is just average, 40k will be average by 2030. This is especially apparent when the modern game has FFP based on revenue. I think I touched on this earlier in the thread where I feel existing ST holders dont realise how bad the capacity problem is as they already have a ticket to every home game. Do we want to keep up with other's or do we want to increase our status and actually make a step up. I want the latter.

Thats false, as I never said never. Try to avoid thinking in black and white. Think of all those goals conceded last year where FT was blaming defenders for mistakes when the start of the moves were further up the pitch. Likewise blaming a penalty taker for not winning a game, ignoring the rest of the match.

Its sadly how players get judged. Keepers tend to get treated harshly as they are last in line, same with forward players at other end of pitch, whilst midfielders are the least blamed players. I think we will inevitably have a disaster moment at some point, but I wont be blaming Mads for it, he is doing as instructed by his manager, and so far doing a pretty good job of it.

To be fair they seem to be improving considerably now. Their fans also said their game against us was their best performance at that point for the season. But regardless I do agree, we do seem guilty of approaching games with a lack of respect for the opposition lately, hopefully we can stamp that out.
