  1. The kids look so eager and happy to be there. Hardly surprising when teach is bone dry. Also, I remember the stumps painted on walls in my school playground.
  2. That's not even a humble-brag, just a brag....
  3. We were away with friends last week and attempted a BBQ on Tuesday evening. We sat in hoodies and scarves. I even considered gloves as we had them in the car from our winter walks.
  4. If the City council had any balls they should've listed it and told DMU to feck off.
  5. Wordle 1,092 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. ITV commentary and punditry is absolute garbage. How the F do they get away with it? And Pougatch just shouts at the "experts" in the studio.
  7. It's not exactly a flowing game anyway.
  8. The best pundit by a long way. I wish he could be on all TV football coverage.
  9. There is but I can't spell it..
  10. Just heading over to the "Absolute ***** Of Our Time" topic to post: "everyone in a position of wealth and power".
  11. Yeah, have a night in front of the telly and watch the Euros for the next 3 weeks. Why bother doing any canvassing when you know it's over?
  12. Complacency and arrogance.
  13. Why would you post the answer? Cretin.
  14. Supply vs demand? 1988 our first house, a terrace on a main road, £17,500. Now going for £169,000. Our current house bought for £85,000 now valued after 25 years, at £350,000. I own a house worth a third of a million pounds!! That's like a mansion, back in the day. My parents would've been proud.
  15. Joined M1 south from J25 yesterday, got in behind a decrepit old boy in a knackered old Vauxhall Astra 2005 plate, constant 45 MPH. It's just dangerous.
  16. Prospective next Tory leader? The Tories really are ****ed if the front runners for the leadership are anything to go by, Badenoch, (even her name is completely open to ridicule if she ever makes a faux pas), Cleverley, (same). Mordaunt, just dressed up as some chess piece for the funeral of the late Queen. Comes across as even more dim and out of touch as Truss and Sunak. As do the others. Then you look across the pond and at the major European countries and one wonders where have the real statesmen gone? It seems to me that prospective or incumbent leaders of the "free world" aren't invested in the interests of their country, but only in themselves and the prospect of power at all costs.
  17. If the weather was like this in October/autumn, most people would have their heating on, at least in the evening. Because it's June and it's meant to be early summer, I guess most don't. We have put it on this evening because it's stupidly chilly. We've just had a few days in Yorkshire by the coast and had a barbecue on Tuesday evening. It was that chilly we could see our exhaled breath and we sat in coats and hoodies.
  18. There's statesmen and then there's Sunak looking like he's found a MILF.
  19. Wordle 1,090 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Flailing like a fish out of water under the public questions.
  21. His 2 chief advisors. From the Scottish Conservatives.
  22. He accepted defeat when he announced the election. Now it's just lip service.
  23. Wordle 1,089 3/6 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
