It's very unlikely we'll get auto spot anyway regardless of any points deduction. 4, I'd rather be entertaining and competitive in a league more suited to our means than get humiliated week in week out in the PL. Finally got to see the HCP at the surgery. Advanced chest infection. Antibiotics and an inhaler. Still feel shite but I know well enough to give it at least 24hrs.

Is anyone else suffering from this prolonged, persistent wet cough and shortness of breath? I've had it for over a week now and it really is debilitating. The cough keeps me awake most of the night, and I cough until I'm physically sick. I feel constantly run down and tired. Covid test was negative. And now Mrs Para has it too.

Any match where I don't need to use the toilets.

Talent is pushing it. Everything moves on and different generations prefer and indulge in different things. I don't begrudge anyone enjoying their TV entertainment wherever or whatever it may be, but it all seems so contrived and false and forced. The sycophantic, orchestrated audience responses on Strictly really grinds my gears to the point where the show is spoiled for me and I can't watch it anymore. If you're going to have "reality" TV shows, at least make it less contrived and more realistic.

I hate Saturday night TV. On all mainstream channels.

IIRC nearly all of the inner ring road was originally intended to be dual carriageway. If you look as you drive around it, there's lot's of room either side of the road. I guess the money wasn't there and they settled for what we have now.

That gets me annoyed. Character gone. Dull functionality in it's place. There must be better vision than this.

Inspired, considerate architect designs taking into account the style of the older buildings in the area seem to be a thing of the past. It's all about functionality, formality, ease/cost of construction. Everything has to be at 90 degs, no obtuse or acute angles or sweeping curves.

Yet again, it's the DMU supporting developers in building student accommodation. They give zero fuch's about any of our heritage buildings.

Both are true. I do wonder if the failure to understand the correct procedure for joining a motorway from a slip road is down to previous regulations preventing learner drivers from being allowed on motorways. That said, they would still have been allowed on dual carriageways where the same rules apply.

I'm surprised there isn't already a topic on this. I'm not an avid watcher and what I saw of last years series was IMO dire. This bunch seem more entertaining and interesting. I like Jack Osbourne and, surprisingly Ruby Wax, Angry Ginge seems ok as do most of them in there tbf. The tasks are much the same but it's the personalities that make the show and these seem to be more watchable than previously.

I might try the 50/50 next time I have a cold. The sharpness and the resulting heartburn really detracting from any noticeable benefits

Similarly, drivers joining a motorway or dual carriageway from a slip road, not understanding that it is their responsibility to, if necessary, slow down and join safely, and not the responsibility of any vehicle on the main carriageway to give way to them.
