I'm Cliff Ginetta and so is my wife. I get what your saying and it is a dull tie. My POV is that we have been the more direct and positive and something seems to have changed with Winks and Faes being dropped and we look better but yes, we still have more to do, but overall we do look more progressive and coherent and that gives me enthusiasm. Glass half full etc.

Yep. Bin off the primadonnas like Winks and Faes and this is the result. All strength to Marti in standing up to these self overrated knobheads
-
That actually contradicts your earlier post about us being shit. Which side of the fence are you on?

And now?

And the possibility of talking in fluent Italian on the first date. I'm in. I mean, even Andrea Bocelli got me a bit aroused at the KP.

I'm also on week 4 of what was diagnosed as a chest infection. The first couple of days I was vomiting green stuff and was breathless any time it tried to move. I got to see a health practitioner after 2 days of trying for an appointment. Antibiotics and an inhaler and that helped but I'm still coughing and short of breath on exertion. Also I have almost completely lost my voice for 3 weeks. I've never known anything like this before. I feel for my ambulance colleagues being under pressure from this strain of whatever it is.

What about Nicola Sturgeon. Reckon you could turn her straight?

They are, and thank you, I will. PS, the likely charge, if any, will be GBH (either with intent, which carries a jail sentence, or by provocation, ((meaning there might have been an altercation before the attack)) which is the lesser of the 2 possible GBH offences and could be at minimum, a suspended sentence with conditions attached). It's going to take a long time, in all respects.

Thanks for asking. He's in QMC head injury ICU, no longer in an induced coma but not fully conscious and still very poorly with his breathing being supported by an on demand ventilator. He can blink his eyes and move toes on one side but that's about it at this point. His future looks bleak TBH. Young guy with a job and a girlfriend, a close family unit who we've known for 20 years.

These days fire crews have bedrooms on site, showers, a multigym, games equipment, Sky, a decent fully equipped kitchen and more. Times do move on. -
Bloody travelling community people. As if they aren't tanned enough.

Only if you've got wood.

We've been pushed onto the back foot by Derby

I remember the promo floppy 45 rpm singles on music mags. When I was a club DJ I used to get promo singles/12 inch "specials" that were mostly crap. .

But, what can we do about any of it. Sweet FA.

It would seem so, and he's full of it. Cretin Has he now suggested Russia be included the WC? Wouldn't surprise me.

People who live alone?

True. It's nonsense but the radio media in particular R2 take it so seriously and push the event and the UK song relentlessly. I have a choice to not be interested. I exercise that choice. Happy times for those that enjoy it.

If I paid £130 for a pair of slippers I'd be sick at the till. Ugg or not. Lets say... £5 production cost. Stitch an Ugg tag in them and charge idiots whatever they will pay.

The UK should just bin the whole thing off and leave it to the countries that think it has any meaning or significance. Such a waste of money.

Who remembers dialling 127 (I think it was) to listen to a random hit from the music charts?

Not to mention the "business" cards offering certain services...

And then the question becomes who to believe and why. Who is trustworthy? How do we judge? There seems to be no truth anymore. People we elect to be our voice in government just aren't doing what we expect of them. They lie, they deceive they're self serving. There is no real truth in political and social matters any more. Each and everyone in government is entirely bent on their own personal goals. We, the electorate are mere cannon fodder in their quest for supremacy. I won't go so as far as to say ultimate power, but they will certainly shove the electorate under the bus in order to achieve what they want. "Representing the constituents" is a thing of the past. I'm sick of hearing politicians in the media saying "whenever I knock on doors... when I speak to people in the street... my constituents come to me and express their concerns.... ****ing liars. Our MP has an office which is open by appointment. Dr Liam lives in London. He has visited his constituency to open the new NHS assessment centre for which he takes credit for achieving even though it was in the plans for years of previous NHS plans. Politicians, I HATE, HATE ,HATE them. I wish the world could function without them but clearly it cant. All most of us want is honesty and transparency and accountability.
