Other than SK1, the fanbase has gone completely stale. The problem is we’re coming off the back of our most successful era and seats are at a premium. Coventry for instance provide some of the best vocal support in the league. Home and away. I cannot stand them, but they’ve had a whole new generation of young fans come through with plenty of available tickets on offer and they’ve developed a new partisan fanbase. I’m sure this will be met with a comment about empty seats, but I’d much rather have 25,000 making noise than 32,000 miserable bastards that **** off because we’re winning too easily.

Would love one of the players to tweet “Big three points today. The fans were largely shit! We go again”

I’m looking forward to it, but our end will be tragically shit. -

How many people have priority points

14/15 is a completely arbitrary season to choose and ring fences the priority. Needs to be rolling. -
Actually feel for Cooper. There’s no way they’d have gone down and it feels like he is Forest. Still, anything that’ll make them have less enjoyment is fine with me.

What a podcast though

It’s not just an English problem though. Sure, it’s not quite Germany or Eastern Europe, but there are countless loud stadiums in the country with fans that respond positively and negatively, but they’re vociferous in doing so. We are the Fulham of the Midlands.

This is quite obviously a joke/compliment. Twitter is so dense.

Jeez what is going on this season?
-
I think even with Iversen in goal for the whole season, we’d have stayed up. Forest bringing in Keylor Navas on loan probably kept them in the league.

In general, our fans just don’t care enough. If you leave early, it’s because you’d rather save that time than see a potential last minute winner. I understood it last season, but it makes no sense this year. Atmosphere comes down to effort and we don’t have enough fans that care. Win, lose or draw - hoards will sit in silence and/or leave early. Leeds, Newcastle, Everton, Palace…whoever. Yeah they might boo when they’re shit but it’s because they’re angry. Our fans should’ve been enraged last year and instead they just filed for the exits. Our celebrations are tame and so is our frustration. It’s all just so meek.

Matt Piper is spot on, but he has got to stop communicating via emojis.

He was poor yesterday, but no other striker of ours would’ve been able to do what he did at the end. Great strength to hold it up and lovely pass through to KDH.

Had a brilliant day and I loved Winks’ winner. Shoutout the back for bringing back the LSF chant. First time I’ve heard it since Eindhoven. But my god, our fans are joyless twats.

Got the Who Are Ya after the second clue! Cheered me up after the Wednesday result. -
If it’s boring you so much, why go?

Cannon has played half a season of professional football. You just know our fans will call him out, if he hasn’t hit the ground running.

I wasn’t there but didn’t feel that sad to miss out. When we take these large followings, it’s always crap. 6,000 of us at MK Dons last season and it was the worst end I’ve ever been in. Chore is exactly right. Genuinely unenjoyable.
