After seeing a very brief snippet of Okoli I’m a bit disappointed we’ve opted to blow 10+ m on him over giving Nelson a chance! I guess the club are thinking his development would be best served out on loan getting regular game time over a potential rotation/back up option here… granted it’s early doors with Okoli but he didn’t look all that comfortable on the ball which could end up being a massive issue in the prem! I’m excited by the prospect of signing the lad based off his YouTube compilations alone as everything about him screams he should be playing through the middle… that being said we’ve not got the best track record when it comes to picking up square pegs for round holes

I think of all the positions we need to strengthen RB is probably up there with GK

Disappointment

Having just blitzed through the last 10 pages I’ve come to the conclusion we need more cryptic posts from our itks what happened to the good ol days where they actually shared said info

Absolutely baffling we’d be chasing a cb when we’ve got so many options back there! I’d almost put it on par with chasing another GK I guess it could be potentially trying to future proof but even still bringing in another now would surely have a negative effect if anything whilst also blocking Nelson’s chances

Thought he looked mustard before he picked up his injury… looks like he’s really struggling getting back up to speed since his return though

I hope we give him a good shot the back end of the season as he looks like the next potential money spinner for us… lad looks like he’s got everything in his locker to be a top cb!
