Obviously there’s no ideal time to pick up injuries but for Alves and Braybrook I really feel their injuries have came at the worst possible time both for us as a club and them with regards to establishing themselves as first teamers! With us dropping down and a manager coming in who clearly believes in blooding youth I don’t think there could have possibly been a better time for either of them

Looked to tweak something when he tried a 30 yard thunder cvnt towards the end of the game on Monday… hopefully nothing in it but I was worried it was his knee again

Parma are 6 points clear in Serie B so I can’t imagine they’d be wanting to cash in on him in Jan

I really don’t get anyone that has this point of view… I mean I still see people clambering for Vestergaard to be dropped for Coady despite Vestergaard pretty much becoming one of the first names on the team sheet all 4 have had games this season and I genuinely don’t think Souttar or Coady have looked comfortable enough with the ball at their feet to displace either Jannick or Wout who’ve both shone in this system due to being very comfortable on the ball

Yes please looked brilliant against us and at only 20 with 6 months on his contract he ticks a lot of boxes

I mean we’re hardly going to go out and snap up a back up keeper of similar quality to Hermansen… surely 1 of Ward/Stolarczyk/Iversen/Smithies is more than than adequate cover… I’d even say that most if not all of our back up keepers would expect to be numbers 1s at the majority of other championship clubs! I do agree re a left footed cb able to offer what Doyle does and a creative 8 though

I do rate the lad but he’s a different type of winger to what most of our fans seem to crave from a wide man… ie Mavididi and Fatawu who are both very direct where as Akgun is a safe player which is exactly what the Gala fans on here told us we’d be getting… again that’s not a bad thing in my eyes as he’ll keep us ticking over playing the percentages rather than just aimlessly whip balls in for fun! As others have said I see him as a Bernardo Silva esq player which isn’t a bad thing nor is the 2 assists he’s already bagged from pretty limited game time!

The wild thing is said shoe laces have nothing to do with the new line I seen a pic a few weeks back from 1 of those kids that source hard to acquire clothing with him and KDH along with about 3 pairs of these trainers in different colours 🤦🏼‍♂️

I don’t get the commotion… surely it shows that we have learned our lesson as we’ve tied down a sellable asset who I can’t imagine will be on ridiculous wages… he’ll be a valuable squad player this season and if Enzo doesn’t feel that’s the case next season (hopefully after promotion) I’m sure we’ll have no problem picking up a few quid for him

The way he tried to smash through the ball whilst the lad was flying into a tackle that was probably 70/30 in favour of the oppo winning the ball was only going to end 1 way… hopefully it doesn’t turn out to be to serious as for me Var the odd game he’s been superb! That being said if he is out for a period of time I feel it will be another Coady situation where he’ll find it hard to get his place back as if JJ stays fit I can’t see him dipping back out

Not for me buddy, Wilf has played ok in general but nothing ground breaking! the amount of times he’s turned over possession whilst receiving the ball under pressure/in transition isn’t good enough for me… in his defence he’s learning a new position where other than having a decent engine on him he really isn’t suited to playing so we can’t be to harsh on him I guess, for me It’s only a matter of time before CC replaces him (unless he carries on at the level he showed against Southampton which for what it’s worth I hope he does)

Surely they’re the best times to find them…. nothing better than seeing an oppo fan crushed by Enzo ball
