3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
ealingfox replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Cooper so far has reminded me of Luis Enrique at Barcelona - traditional back 4 and a flattish midfield 3 focused on winning and retaining possession. However this was fine in the attacking third for them because their front 3 was Suarez, Neymar and Messi. We're a bit short of that kind of quality atm, Vardy aside. -
Why were the Villa fans unhappy with him? Gave them more than enough from where I was sitting
-
In the same way signing half of a back 4 we beat 9-0 turned out to be a bad idea, signing half of an attack that's struggled for goals for years could go the same way tbh.
-
Let's just hope El Khannous turns out to be extremely good is all I can say really.

Albrighton was a 2014-15 signing. Okazaki, Inler and Benalouane joined in the same window as Fuchs, Kante and Dyer.

The teams that are in the top four or five will always want to play us, we are massive. -

Might be controversial but time to invite only the top-ranked 4 or 5 teams to play Test series against us in England. This home summer has been a waste of time. Having 2 England XIs play each other would have been more productive and probably more entertaining. -
Plot twist - Popov starts tomorrow and scores a hatrick

Good luck to the Melton Modric

Cooper Pooper, He's a fookin moron, Loves a midfield 6, Barely get a kick, Tactics look like shit
-
Cooper a disastrous appointment.

Sticking you in goal would be an upgrade on Ward pal.

Genuinely baffling to countenance any sale at a loss.

That Mosquera is honking

The thing is there's such an easy way out even with all this Thai cultural guff about loyalty and saving face. Just give him a bullshit job that can be framed as a promotion, like Exec Director of King Power Sports Group or something like that. Then a proper DoF for Leicester can be brought in, and one for Leuven or whatever they need. Rudkin can then piss about doing as he pleases with all the status he wants, he can be in the room for meetings, he can report into the owner, do the horse racing stuff, fine - just with people that know what they're doing on the actual work for our club. Director of Football for a PL club is a full time job and we should at the very least be demanding he relinquishes his other roles.

And half the fanbase insisting this is the best we could possibly do makes me sick.

This bloke's going to end up on the pantheon of the most clueless idiots we've had on the touchline and he's still managed more shots on target in one away game than Rodgers was managing in a month in the last 2 seasons.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

****ing hell. 'Good appearance record' actually cited by Percy as a reason for the signing. We're into Sunday League territory here.

Genuinely feels like we've undertaken to sort out the PSR issues of other clubs, whilst also failing it ourselves. Our club is not safe in the hands of these people.

I was thinking of this one too, need to find the clip. Pretty sure he made 2 or 3 others in that game before that one as well.
