Ricardo played 2 games in the league, forest which he may have made a mistake but our goal wouldn’t happened without him there. Best bit of football we played under cooper. (Also our only shot in target, one of 3 in the last 3 games at home under cooper). The goal in every game would’ve gone on, it was on the downturn under cooper, forest was woeful, Ipswich too on the whole, Chelsea was as bad as some of the RVN games, but for a sloppy penalty Chelsea gave away. I guess we’re never going to agree here, but it wasn’t all rosy under cooper.

We didn’t want to pay a release clause for a manager last season. Will we want to this season? Rohl, did an excellent job last year, decent this in the circumstances. But is a risk. Dyche would be against possession decisions but would probably get us promoted 1st time. Not my choice. Plenty of choice out there, but I don’t see us looking too far away unfortunately.

But people will look at Enzo and maybe take a risk as we should be top end champ.

From a fans perspective is there anyone that everyone would be behind? I guess it would have to be a similar approach to Enzo(not style of play), someone promising with minimal baggage.

I am always willing to give any manager a chance. The forest thing in for me was completely irrelevant. I don’t care about that, one of our greatest managers was a forest legend in their greatest triumph. So maybe an issue for some but not me. Im sure I said this when we appointed Cooper, but whet worried me was when we played them and beat them 4-0. They didn’t sit deep, they didn’t press and lacked seemingly lacked a plan. After 4/5 games we seemed the same. I didnt love Enzo ball, I would like us to be higher tempo and more direct at times. I knew we needed to be more “pragmatic”, but we easy to play against(that didn’t change) we scored more goals but that would’ve stopped, we had 3/4 shots on target in our last 3/4 home games under cooper. They whole season has been a poor one, that include both cooper and RVN!

He does try to make a point about "his brand of football", in that he plays the way the team and finances allow. Not sure what young players have come through under him, McNeil(not what people would call a "Dyche" player) is the one that I can think of, sure there are others. But I completely agree with your reservations. Again I'm just trying to think how the club will think, I still get a funny feeling Ruud might still be here if we get some results in the last few games.
