Maybe people choosing not to go is a big enough 'protest' in any case. I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed with the hierarchy……………….then again they probably haven’t realised Vardy has left yet !
-
That’s a pretty fair assessment.

……..At 85, I’m not sure Geoffrey is the answer to our woes.

Leicester v Middlesboro - Tuesday 4th November

Absolutely. Unfortunately if we don’t put in the effort, the hard yards, etc. it counts for nothing. Too many sides outfight us, outmuscle us. Each game has a similar pattern, we start well (10 mins), we concede, visibly fade instantly, then huff & puff. Something is fundamentally wrong for this to happen on a regular basis. -

Looking at the 20 man squad selected v Blackburn, l didn’t realise how poor it has become. Pre-season some were suggesting we will go straight back up, play-offs etc. l know The Championship is seen by many as being weak this season, but combining the lack of effort, fitness, will to fight with this squad, we finish mid-table at best. -
If England are to do well, they need to use the 'Bazball' approach with brains, reading the match situation far better. As you say, the Aussie attack is exceptional, plus the bigger grounds is risky going all out attack. Hopefully, England’s attack can apply enough pressure consistently enough to keep us in each game. I’d be surprised if Wood & Archer manage more than 3 Tests each, l back Carse to have a good Series. He hits the deck hard, will run in all day. Australia seem unsure of their batting line up, will Green play, Webster, who will open etc ? l still pick the Aussies to win, probably 3-1. Hopefully I’m wrong, we win in Perth & kick on !
-
That's on Rogers. He kept picking him, when everyone & their dog see he was a weak link.
-
That list & fees paid is absolutely shocking & then there's the length of contracts too. It's like money wasn't an issue at all. Reminds me of that Binman, Michael Carrol winning £10m on The Lottery & p*****g it all up the wall............We just did it on a grander scale. Incredible

After relegation, a probable points deduction, this lot can't even be bothered to use seige mentally as a driver. No wonder the fans are so detached.
-
I reckon we've had an unfit squad for a while now. Matt Piper referred to it last season, during the Fulham debacle, from memory.
-
Is that what we paid ? If true, proves we don't scout at all. Literally throwing money away.
-
Yes. TV comms mentioned it too. The booing came across very clear as well.

You can beat Kettering, hopefully not Harborough !

I posted something similar earlier…….looking at the 20 selected for today, l didn’t realise how weak our squad has become. Awful bench, we can’t score, defensively feeble, no fight. Just drifting into another relegation battle, without a care, or worry it seems. -

I’m all for bringing in a cricket law. Can we declare & take a point ? Also at 43, Jimmy Anderson could be decent for at least an hour. -

The poor transfer windows after our Title win in 2015/16 was the beginning. l don’t want to get too melancholy, but we missed a massive chance to fully establish ourselves as a top 8 Premier League side. Apart from the FA Cup win, it’s been an unbelievable decline. Biblical. More recently, the way Rogers was allowed to dictate his departure, hold too many cards, showed a massive weakness in our hierarchy. It’s difficult to pinpoint one moment, l reckon it’s a collective. It’s been so, so poor.

Did l dream it, but is he a Danish international ?

Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD

It wouldn’t change anything by sacking Marti, if we keep employing low hanging fruit to run this s*** show. We don’t do any due diligence, or scouting anymore, it seems. Sleepwalking is what we do best. Please wake up ! -
I was a definite no during the week. No I’m not sure. It depends on the points deduction. Is there a maximum they’re allowed to dish out ? We look so easy to play against, have little threat upfront, always concede & wilt visibly when going behind. That’s a toxic cocktail that’ll cause a hangover going into each game.
-
You really couldn’t make it up. Speechless.
-
Surely after last season, when it was obvious we were going down, the hierarchy can’t let this sleepwalk into oblivion continue. There appears to be no direction, fight, communication……anything positive. What we have become is a total embarrassment. The gap of disconnect between club/players & fans has never been greater.
