  1. If we survive with a points deduction, Maresca wins Manager of the season.
  2. Maybe so. Although Kasper was probably asked about fellow Dane Vestergaard. I know he was good this season, but he still divides opinion on how good he is at Premier league level.
  3. Exactly. Spent a couple of nights in Stow, 2 weeks ago. Caught the bus to Bourton, spent one afternoon there (most of it at Hawkstone !), just to get away from the crowds. Lots of Americans were milling around, they love all that ‘old historical England’ stuff of course. On the whole The Cotswolds is a beautiful part of the world.
  4. Plenty of places in The Cotswolds of course. Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-water(very touristy though & busy), Hawkstone Brewery is worth a visit, nice marquee to try the limited IPA, lagers & cider.
  5. I'd be amazed if Arsenal don't score at least 3. Easy win surely.
  6. As someone previously posted, a one game semi-final at neutral grounds, Wembley final. These 1st legs, in general have no jeopardy.
  7. This is better than Norwich/Leeds...... just. Set up for a Leeds v Saints final. How does that make a Watford fan feel, preferably to get Leeds in the Prem l guess ?
  8. Money would be my guess. It's a good idea (yours) in principle. I love the play offs personally as they are, I'm sure the powers that be will tweak it at some point. The old system was ok too (as used in Germany now).
  9. I get that to a degree, although clubs rely on shirt sales as a large part of their income, yes they're expensive, but most of the cost goes into the coffers. Each to their own l guess. l have a retro 70s shirt, a 'Vardy 9' top from 2019 & a 'Tielemans' replica top to mark his goal in our FA cup win, and that's it. They all mean something to me personally, l rarely wear them & never have bought them out of habit or necessity.
  10. I heard him talking prior to the Old Firm game yesterday. He just spoke about the trophies he’s won, making it all about him. So narcissistic.
  11. If Fury has trained well, is hungry & wants to prove the doubters wrong he wins, definitely. If not, he loses. Will be intriguing to see how it goes.
  12. I bow to your superior knowledge. I guess you're another poster who's opinion is 'fact' & who loves the smell of his own farts There's me thinking that a forum is based on opinions, thoughts & the occasional fact. Silly me.
  13. Nowhere. It's called an opinion.
  14. Forest has concerns. Talksport reported on it.
  15. There were some reports that Forest were concerned about repercussions of appealing. So they obviously thought it was possible.
  16. Surely it'll be 6-8 pts If it's 8 we'll probably appeal. If it's 6 we may take it....in case we lose any appeal & it's upped to 8.
  17. Norwich purely because they'll struggle in The Prem. Unfortunately l think Leeds or Saints will go up.
  18. I don’t think twisting the rules comes into it. Most ‘Keepers are 6’ 3’’+, and most, myself included, think they’re over protected when it comes to corners, crosses etc when challenged. That’s just my opinion of course.
  19. Differing opinions on a forum………..who’d have thought ?
  20. Definitely. If that involves 2 outfield players, it's not a foul.
  21. Harborough v Anstey ? If so, a match report please !
  22. I don't see the point. If these have been nicked by fellow fans, what are they gonna do with them ? It's not as though they can show 'em off or parade 'em anywhere. Just get them back to the rightful owners.
  23. I know a fella that recently played for Stamford & knows a bit about local non-league footie. He reckons Anstey are paying out a fair wedge.
