It really exposes the fact we needed to properly replace Maddison with a central player who can link our attack effectively, but also have the quality to have a crack from range if they sit in a low block infront of goal.

It's a shame really, from what i've seen on the OTIB forum, Bristol City fans understand Pearson now after a few rocky seasons and seem to really love him and buy into his system (as we did) and he's just being completely hampered by lack of investment. I hope Nige sticks it out and gets the investment needed as I've no doubt he could get them where they want to be if he was given money. Shame that he has to come here and park the bus. I assume he's had it, it was scheduled for the October international break but had to be brought forward, as far as I saw he was expected to be missing in the dugout for a couple of weeks though, so either he's had it and recovery has been good or he's not yet had it and it's only managable with crutches right now.

Right but that's not evidence that we have been sharp in the first half over the course of more than a decade lol. In most games I can remember we more often than not take far too long to really get going.

Story of the season, It really isnt clicking in attack. We are often winning/scoring from individual moments, for the amount of breaks we get we really are poor in terms of end product.

Yeah Mckenna has done an incredible job and everyone is on the same page there, I wasnt sure whether he was the real deal when we were rumoured to be looking at him, but he looks destined for big things if he continues like this.

That's just peak KDH, skips past multiple players, then overplays it and ends up making a pass that even if Vardy had made a run for would have been in a position to do absolutely nothing with anyway. Just wasting an attack by overplaying.

Think we will win, Bristol City seem a bit inconsistent and their owner has seemingly refused to push the club forward with any meaningful investment. Really hoping big Nige gets the legends welcome that he deserves as he comes home for a game.

Have been watching a fair bit of MLS since Messi's arrival and I'm really enjoying watching Benjamin Cremaschi. 18 Years old, 6 foot and strong for his build, very powerful runner with the ball and pretty solid all around. Made 1 appearance for the national team and has a really bright future ahead of him. Definitely one to look at in the near future, especially if we get promoted.

Came on and played very well, would start him over Casadei after tonight. Think Casadei needs a bit more time to get to speed with English football and KDH is definitely better suited for it right now.

Agree with all of this, and also with others mentioning the gulf in class between the premier league and championship, it's absolutely huge. Hopefully the football clicks soon and we can start expressing ourselves as the football is pretty ugly right now. But the results are what matters most and time will tell on the style. Good early signs.

Agree, but at some point you have to start performing. We are winning because of the awful level of the opposition. Yep, take the 3 points, if we get promoted playing this way i'll take it.
