I'd take Cifuentes 100%, he was on my list a couple of weeks ago, definitely leaning to the side of the fence that I don't really like (he's far closer to Enzo than Rohl) but I think he speaks well, isn't afraid to call the board out as proven already, is not afraid to drop/sell players who don't make an effort or buy in to the club and the ethos he wants to create. Would much prefer Rohl, but this is the best we have been linked with apart from him.

I said just before O’Neil was sacked that I thought wolves were unlucky in terms of league position vs performances, they played well in a fair few games but just couldn’t get it over the line and were making poor errors or tactical naivety, so I felt a bit for him, even at Bournemouth I thought he was sacked quite harshly given the tools he had, yet both wolves and Bournemouth found another 5 gears when he went. Don’t want him. Leicester have me on the brink of just not bothering with football. My love for football has been lost in the era of big finance and stupid wages, if O’Neil comes when we have an opportunity to rebuild something exciting I think that could be the straw. Who knows maybe he’s learned from his mistakes, I just can’t see it.

The fact it’s being reported we have actually interviewed Wilder shows we still have absolutely no idea what direction we are going. Chris Wilder/Sean Dyche/Danny Rohl couldn’t be further apart in philosophy. This is just beyond a joke at this point. If we are willing to pay for someone, go with Rohl. If we aren’t, go with Hassenhuttl. It really is that simple Top. Both of those managers will bring a style that fans can get behind, a philosophy that is exciting, and both are proven to play younger players. If you want to completely destroy any connection you had to the fanbase, go with Wilder. Wilder isn’t a bad manager, but he doesn’t suit what we want, and the direction we should be going.

I’ve been calling for a Red Bull style system for god knows how long, King could be the first step to building that, give him either a leading coaching role or assistant manager, and in a couple of seasons allow him to take over if he proves himself. We need to get back to signing players with future potential on the pitch, but it’s imperative we start doing that off the pitch also. Every single time a manager is sacked there should be someone within the club who can step up and continue the blueprint. Bring them in early in their career, help them develop how WE want them to develop, then promote from within.

Great result for Lando this is the one he wanted, elated for him, feel bad for Oscar as he deserved it on the day but was robbed by dodgy FIA stewarding, Nico the story of the day.

I thought Lewis was going to take it when Oscar made his error but just couldn't keep it clean enough. That Ferrari had pace though, 0.55s up coming into the final 4 corners so lost a ridiculous amount of time. Max once again driving the skin off of his car, if it does rain tomorrow I think it will be a 1-2-3 Max, Oscar, Lewis.

I wrote down loads of notes to cobble together a sort of tactical analysis of Rohl's system over the past 18 months for if he signs and the sort of things he has picked up from Red Bull, haven't bothered yet as I'm probably not eloquent enough to create a proper analysis and the long, dead silence from the club is concerning.

Given Enzo has spent over £400m since arriving at Chelsea and still wants more money to spend, and the fact he took over a massively bloated team anyway, we should probably be looking to take some of their academy/reserve players on loan with options to buy, because they won't be getting any game time under Maresca.

They do get a lot wrong, but if they do go and sign Rohl they should be given credit on this, the rumours were they offered it to Martin and then withdrew once they saw the backlash, and imo I genuinely believe that if Rohl signs it’s because of a fan led drive to make it happen. I don’t think the club would have been lining up Rohl as the main candidate given their obsession over pep ball. If my opinion is right, the club have finally listened to fans. It doesn’t absolve them of the radio silence since relegation and the mistakes that took us there, but it atleast shows us we can have an impact if we all pull in the same direction.
