  1. Career dead here plus multiple relegations on his CV, he's shown a real maturity to just put his head down and work his way back, he loves the club, he works hard and most importantly he seems to be improving, hopefully a season in the Championship under his belt could be him really turning a corner with us.
  2. The fact Luke Thomas, Coulibaly and Justin can play Left Back means for me that position is fully covered and is a position we don't have to worry about.
  3. Chancel Mbemba - Free, way too good for the Championship and would absolutely dominate it. Stats Chancel Mbemba - stats, career and market value Jocelyn Janneh - CDM - 22 years old - Less than £5m, deep lying midfielder very much in the Ndidi mould, his defensive metrics have been very good but needs to develop himself on the ball more and does sometimes get caught out, could grow into a very solid player in a couple of years. Stats Jocelyn Janneh - stats, career and market value Oscar Gloukh - LW/CAM/CM - 21 years old - Probably going to cost us £15-20m so would be a replacement for El Khannouss if he leaves, he will 100% move on to the Bundesliga likely to Leipzig if someone doesn't snap him up early, he's worth every single penny of £15-20m Stats Oscar Gloukh - stats, career and market value Stefan Bajcetic - DM - 20 years old, massive potential and has been quite highly rated by Liverpool but got injured, went on loan to Las Palmas and has been rated highly over there in their relegation battle in La Liga, unlikely to feature much for Liverpool in the next season or 2 atleast, so could be open to a Loan move with an option to buy at the end, I'd imagine somewhere in the range of £10m option. Bit of a risk this one but looks a solid player for the future. Stats Stefan Bajcetic - stats, career and market value Elie Junior Kroupi - ST - Has played brilliantly for Lorient this season on loan from Bournemouth, I'm not sure if they plan on giving him more loan time or throwing him straight into the prem, but if he's available for loan he could be an option for a low fee. 20 goals this season and has only started 67% of matches so quite a few appearances as a sub. Stats Elie Junior Kroupi - stats, career and market value
  4. Vardy struggled in his first season in the championship so badly that Pearson and Shakey had to convince him not to quit. Sky sports suggested the club were ready to back Jamie and gave him the decision and he chose to leave. It’s absolutely imperative if we are going to replace Jamie long term that we sign someone young and with a point to prove then give them a full run in the championship. The last thing we need is Vardy getting another 1300 minutes next season (he got nearly 2000 last season), we maybe get promoted and the new striker barely has a full season under his belt going into the premier league. We need to replace Vardy now, not phase him out at the expense of whoever we are trying to replace him with.
  5. For £6m it's a cheap price for a very experienced defender, he's been part of a disastrous campaign, but I don't think he will be short of offers for that price imo.
  6. To be fair on Bednarek I just saw he has a pitiful release clause so largely irrelevant but rumours are multiple clubs looking at him. Ramsdale is linked with Bournemouth and has been a decent player this season. Harwood-Bellis is likely to go to somewhere like West Ham or Palace. Ramsdale and THB in perticular will have many teams sniffing around, they were nowhere near the issue this season.
  7. I'd imagine financially they will be very comfortable next year and likely able to invest well. Parachute payments ontop of the likely sales of Bednarek, Harwood-Bellis, Tyler Dibling, Fernandes and Ramsdale, between them that brings in over 120m imo.
  8. Home debut is a clear message from the manager that you are in contention to be a regular player for the first team, his appearance in terms of contribution was insignificant, to be on the pitch will make him feel confident would be my guess
  9. Small amount of credit that Evans, Monga and Golding ended the game on the pitch there, for younger players making your home debut is massive, especially in the premier league and to see out a win. Evans and Golding will go into the summer on cloud 9, and Monga might be potentially thinking about staying on with the significant game time he's been given recently.
  10. More than happy to see Evans, Monga and Golding on.
  11. Come on ffs get Jamie his goal now
  12. Is this going on general sale?
  13. Southampton are pretty much what I saw from us last season, the benefit of last season being our opponents were miles poorer and we were able to take advantage of it. Southampton are what I expected us to be like this year with maybe a bit more fight and quality.
  14. I think he's properly checked out at this point. Was amazing when he came back from injury and been awful the last month or so
  15. Fair enough, I thought the chant to the new ref "who the f*ing hell are you?" was funny, but a guy goes down with a potential concussion and fans are chanting at him as he's laying on the ground. Fair enough if fans found it funny, maybe i'm out of touch on this.
  16. Personally I just feel the gap is too big, I think Jakub, Thomas, Okoli, Nelson, Vestergaard if we can't move him on, El Khannouss if he stays, Alves, Fatawu, Mavididi, Skipp, plus the players we might keep like Ricardo, Winks, Souttar etc are all capable of battling at the top end or atleast top 6.
  17. The gap between the prem and the Championship is absolutely massive, we have multiple young talents that can do really well at that level already, we also have players like Okoli who are not quite at the required prem level yet but more than good enough for the Champinship, Alves, El Khannouss (providing we keep him), Fatawu, Mavididi, Thomas, Jakub. Southampton will be expected to be one of the top 3 in the Champ (I think they will be strongest next year personally) and I thought coming into today we would comfortably beat them. I want multiple managers over Ruud, but I'm not going to have a meltdown if he stays because I think he gets us back up regardless.
  18. No, that's not what I said. I stated that moving Rudkin on is a priority over Ruud, but I don't want either of them in their current role, I made the separate point that we have a squad capable of promotion with or without Ruud and that we should only get rid if we are going to replace him with a manager that fits within a proper 5 year plan, not a short term "fixer". Again, can we normalise reading posts before responding.
  19. It's a different ref....
  20. I'm sorry that science is too much for you. The ref has literally had to be replaced.
  21. Can we stop with the not bothering to read a post before responding?
  22. His head got sideswiped by a shoulder, it's a head injury.
  23. Mocking a guy who looks like he has a head injury and potentially a concussion...
