We finally make a starting 11 that most of the fans want, largely control the game, then go an do that. Back to the drawing board for Cooper next week then -

Mavididi had 700 miles of space there and we decided to play it into the corner. Fatawu massively lacks vision. -

Yep, he needs to play wider to open space for the midfield. Every single time they just allow him to cut onto his left and they close the space. It's the definition of insanity. -

Probably one of the most brain devoid decisions I've ever seen a footballer take from Buoanotte there. Pure stupidity. -
Nah this one makes you sing about Soyuncu's member
-
Feel sorry for wolves slightly they've been far better than the table suggests, played some good stuff today.
-
I hope so, and look, my opinion is based on the performances, I think we've been quite fortunate this season that we have finally come into games at times the opponents have imploded, Spurs fell apart after absolutely dominating, Southampton today, Bournemouth last week could have buried the game multiple times but blew their chances, Palace were 2 completely different teams between halves, Arsenal should have been 4-0 up at half time now, obviously results in football will often come down to a striker missing or scoring a chance, but at some point, results have to start coming from performances of our squad rather than the implosion of our opponents. Points are points and the table doesn't lie, however, I personally don't believe that if we play how we are across the rest of the season we will continue to keep getting away with these results. I think our points do not reflect our performances, you could argue that getting points when playing bad is a good thing, because when you come good you start pulling teams apart, but we are making the same mistakes every week and it's not changing. It will be a hell of a battle and until Arsenal I was fully behind giving Cooper time, but we've gone to an AWFUL Southampton and were lucky to be 2-0 down and not 3. I don't think our performances are sustainable enough to keep us up, unless the bottom 4 continue to implode every week. If the bottom 4 start picking up points, we could very quickly be back in trouble unless we address the issues we have. I could be optimistic or pessimistic for both sides of my own argument, my optimism unfortunately has switched to pessimism. I hope Cooper can improve his decision making and start putting in some proper performances for 90 minutes and not when desperately chasing.
-
Yep the 9 points cannot be denied, and thankfully the bottom 4 are absolutely hopeless. Southampton are one of the worst defensive teams i've seen in the last 2 years, for 60 minutes we were nowhere, it took a really obvious sub to turn the game around and then a total collapse from the opposition. The constant mistakes and poor decisions are not sustainable, the players won the game today despite Cooper, not the other way around.
-
I was also pro Cooper, I gave him a chance every single week, and i've defended his poor decisions on multiple occasions on here, making those same mistakes just cannot be defended anymore. I'm really happy for the result, but tactically we are awful for 45-60 minutes every week. It's unsustainable.
-
Ricardo AND Abdul should both be on the pitch, as should Facundo. They are the 3 best outfield players we have. 2 of them can barely get a sniff, Fatawu only gets a chance when we are chasing.
-
Playing Fatawu and Ricardo. Our best attacks and worst defending came from the the right side, a side that Cooper is absolutely determined to ignore the problems on. Both of their goals came from Justin being turned inside out like he wasn't even there. Week after week it's the same mistakes, week after week we are chasing games because of these stubborn decisions that pretty much no other manager in this league would be making. Call me crazy but I cannot think of a single manager in the top flight or even the championship that would see Justin defensively this season and continue to play him over Ricardo.
-
Because we shouldn't have been 2-0 down, and we only started actually playing well when the most obvious sub in history was made. Nobody on this forum is a pro manager and all of us can see Fatawu should be on. You can't really credit a manager for bringing on a player who should never be on the bench. It's these same mistakes every week, the same mistakes that he will make next match too, not everyone is as awful as Southampton.
-
If Cooper kept playing the same way, but brought Fatawu and Ricardo in, most of this forum would be able to get fully behind the bloke, because we might actually go into half time drawing, or god forbid winning from time to time.
-
Back to back wins and he will make the same mistakes next week. Players have dragged Cooper out of the mess he created. I've seen no evidence he will learn. Take the gamble Top.
-
WHAT A RESULT!!!!! COOPER OUT!

Hypothetical New Ownership- Who Would You Like?
cityfanlee23 replied to niyaminski's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sadly King Power still have some credit in the bank for me even though I can't see them fixing any of the mess they have created, right now I'd take Red Bull providing there is an agreement NEVER to become RB Leicester. Let them have the stadium name, sponsorships, banners everywhere, no name change and i'd jump at the chance. King Power is stale. -
Unfortunately it's credit for fixing a mess he creates every week.
-
His entire strategy seems to be to go into half time NOT 3-0 down, so to him it's working.
-
YESSSSS!! (Cooper saved )
-
I'm starting to feel my toxic trait kicking in now, that it's creeping in that feeling that we need to get hammered to make the decision for the board. These nicked 2-2 draws (if it comes) will not keep us up and will only delay relegation. Sometimes it's easier to bite the bullet and take a gamble, I don't want to wish us to lose, but if we are going to lose in a close 2-1 game i'd rather we ship 5 or 6 now and force it. With that said, we could probably lose by 10 and still not make a decision.
-
Currently 2-1 with 30 minutes to go including expected add on time, even if we win this game this is untenable. Lethargic, poor selections again, pretty much no idea going forward, no real identity or plan, even if we steal a draw or a win, we cannot keep doing this, but we know next week Cooper will make the same mistakes. Has to go, untenable. Take a gamble on someone exciting who want's to attack from the off.
-
Regardless of the result today, this is untenable. I don't care if we now go on to win 5-2, I think Cooper has to go.

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official
cityfanlee23 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Oh of course, I wouldn't want him starting, and I can't pretend to know what he's been like for anything other than that game as it's the only one I've seen, but his movement in that game was fantastic and he was playing largely on the shoulder of the defenders. I'd just rather have him here so we have options. I'd like to see us go to 2 strikers when chasing games and right now we don't have that option unless we bring a winger on upfront since Vardy can't last the 90 and we have been typically chasing the game around the time he's spent. -

Edouard is more proven at this level but watching Cannons 4 goals recently his movement was fantastic. I’d love to have seen Cannon, Edouard and Vardy in rotation
