£30m is a fair price for him, a central midfielder with no right foot. Absolutely incredible season for us in the Championship, but I still think he will be found out in the prem if he's playing an advanced role, so many times this season he turned himself into trouble, or completely broke down our attack with multiple clear passing options because he didn't want to use his right. He's a likeable player and clearly loves the club, but if this gets us over the line financially I'll take it. Not quite sure where or how he fits into the Chelsea squad but good luck to him.

I mean, It's mostly England fans fault anyway. We know the FA were going to let him keep going, but just as Leicester fans did with Rodgers, they kept giving Southgate excuse after excuse. I'll say again, Southgate is the sort of bloke you'd put forward to represent the country, a real nice bloke, well spoken and honest. But his football is absolutely dreadful. I can maybe think of 3-4 games where we've genuinely played quality football against top opposition who also played well.

I hate modern football. Ball is behind foden and he stretches his leg behind him to try to touch the ball and makes very basic contact with the defender when he was off balance. If that's a foul then stop the bus.

Really like him but he's made of glass. He's missed over 125 matches due to injury at age 23. Would be a big risk for us unless we can get him for sub £10m.

He needs to make it stick somewhere, multiple loans now and his chances at Liverpool look non-existent unless Slot has other ideas. If we can get him for £15m then 100% take a punt. We desperately need someone in that advanced midfield position but if he's being valued at 25m or something i'd rather go in for Oscar Gloukh.

When was the last time a manager was sacked mid-tournament? I'd back half of this forum to get us a win tonight. Slovenia have a few decent players, but for gods sake, just tell the players "Score as many goals as possible" and we win.

For me it depends on a couple of things, firstly the size of the points deduction and secondly how our performances are relative to our squad. If we go into this season and we've signed 1 player for £10m and nobody else, providing we are fighting and producing performances but maybe being undone by the odd goal (like 14/15), I'd probably accept going down and rebuilding with him, Obviously, survival at all costs have to be considered, but if it comes down to the wire and we are fighting tooth and nail for it and the tactics are fine, i'd stick. But all of these things need to happen. I really hope we are able to take advantage of some decent loans and maybe sign a few players. 5-6 players and we could be okay, realistically we probably need more but it's not looking good financially. Unfortunately Cooper is going to have a hand tied behind his back it seems.

I'm being reminded a little bit of when Pearson went to Bristol City and didn't immediately get results. We have a lot of fans who are questioning the appointment, and a huge amount of Forest fans telling us we are lucky to have him and to keep faith. When Pearson went to Bristol City, a lot of their fans especially at the beginning when results didn't come immediately were thinking it was a sideways step and they had loads of Leicester fans telling them to be patient because he will build a foundation and come good. In the end, Pearson was one of the only people seemingly holding the fanbase together, the majority were absolutely gutted when he got sacked. Both scenarios seem strikingly similar. I hope the Forest fans are right.

I thought the same, articles suggest he’s on 90k a week, but Galatasaray have offered him 50k a week. I’d imagine it would be closer to 65-70k a week which is a lot but if we could get that sort of deal with a relegation clause it could be affordable. of course this is all speculation, knowing United he’s probably on 300k a week 😂

Loan with a buy option if we stay up. Renato Sanches - On the books at PSG but looks likely to go out on loan again, was at Roma last season and PSG paid most of his wages. Clement Lenglet - Was on loan at Villa last season, 14 appearances in a very competitive side, could be a cheap loan. Kalvin Phillips - This one is a big IF, had a horrendous time since signing for City but if we got a tune out of him he's a very good midfielder. Loads of question marks. Daichi Kamada - Unfortunately likely to go to palace (palace will be next seasons dark horse) Kieren Tierney - Good Left Back option if Kristiansen decides he wants to go. David Carmo - Linked with him already, left footed CB, £15m Djed Spence - Thrived under Cooper, unwanted by Spurs. Loan with buy option. Joe Rodon - Linked with us last couple of days, played for Cooper at Swansea, Loan from spurs. Said Benrahma - Lots of question marks on this one, but he's a lively player that can play in the middle if needed, doesn't score enough but he's a player that would open space for Fatawu/Mavididi on the wings. 100% give him a deal. I fancied him to return to form in the championship, never in any lifetime would I have expected it to be in the role he played, but he fought hard and adapted to his role better than I think any of us could have expected, he will cost more to replace than we will get for him. Let Cooper have a go and bring the monster we had a few years ago back to form.

100%, there needs to be a very clear direction and strategy that we can see. If we go down and we are fighting and we are clearly rebuilding a foundation then I'll accept going down and keeping him on. Just saying the right thing won't be enough, but it definitely helps to bring fans onboard when you're saying the right things regarding fighting for the badge, remembering who you play for etc.
