He's not been there 8 months has he?!
-
I like him – he seems like a lovely bloke and I don't think his effort can ever really be questioned and, having seen some of the prats we've had jog about the pitch for us over the past few years, this isn't a given for everyone. Bracketing him in with Akinbiyi is unfair. But I'm swaying towards trying to flog him at the end of the season while there's probably still some value in him. I don't think he's a terrible player, but I don't think he's particularly good, either. It just all feels quite loose and clumsy with him. The catch is that I think we look a much better side with him in it.

Southampton giving your man five mins on his arse to get back up and stick it in
-
I've been Faes biggest critic and still think he needs shipping, but I thought he was decent today too.

Feels like every single one of our crosses are done at a gentle pace and either go into the keepers hands or are far too high for anyone to get their head on.

I'm not sure about statistics but I remember a game advertised as Red Monday (maybe 2016?) Liverpool v Man Utd, the sides weren't as good as the pair playing today - but it was hyped to the gills and it was genuinely one of the worst games I'd ever seen.

Always know any video like this kicking off with St. Matthew's is a load of bollocks.
-
Swear to god this is copied and pasted every week and yet some quarters will say "Enzo will get him going as an 8! He has all the attributes!" despite the fact he moves like a Youtube video on 0.5 speed

Paul seems sensible enough but I don't think he's been particularly good throughout the series (apart from the last task where he was the only one presenting who didn't shit the bed) Flo is by far and away the best candidate but weirdly this year I think all the ones that are left aren't all complete dimwits and are actually quite good, Phil and Foluso aside. I'd like Nick to win as he just seems like he's having a laugh but Flo or Rachel would be where my cash would go. All irrelevant given we've not seen their business plans though, which makes the whole process redundant!

I know it's a running gag but it's quite clear the issue is probably Tuchel, not Kane.
-
Okay but what about the other 8 times?
-
Okay, I'm not disagreeing that we're crap or anything by the way – just that every other day you seem to prophecise sides "not getting another point all season" or "not dropping another point all season"

The persistence with Faes when Doyle and Coady are both centre halves is the real piss take – I don't think Doyle has been particularly convincing at LB but he's not and never will be a full back. By all accounts he was phenomenal for Cov last year at CB. I'm not a huge Vestergaard fan tbh but I can at least acknowledge he has a very good attribute in his passing that makes him stand out. But Faes is... just not really good at anything bar the odd marauding run forward. More to the point, when our backs are against the wall he falls to pieces. I don't think he's integral to getting this system working but Maresca insists on playing him. In our situation we decided to pay £8 million for Coady's leadership, it seems. Now we bloody need it and he simply can't be any worse than Faes has been for the last month and a half – it's an area of the pitch we're well stacked in and we're playing a centre half who chases after the ball like a dog in the park.

Sticking their owner in this with Brian Clough et al absolutely reeks of not upsetting the boss
-
Do you only deal in extremes or something?

Look how many bodies Leeds had in/around the six yard box there, ****s sake.
-
Remembered these from when a few of us on here had the cheek to celebrate Ipswich dropping points - thought they were bizarre takes then, and they've aged like milk.
-
I can't wait for him to leave tbh.
-
Mad that, quick search of you and WATP throws up a handful of results, some Friday morning fun
-
That's a yes isn't it
-
I am thick tbh but I've touched a nerve clearly. Soft spot for Rangers?
-
How is it daft though? They've changed and recoloured it before and the Rangers dads weren't foaming then.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Langston replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
While I agree the rules are daft and I don’t disagree with the sentiment, if “we showed ambition” is our argument for flouting any rules that apply to us, we really do have crayon eating children running the shop.
