They’re not shit either; handy players and a capable manager. Always admired their succession planning for people being poached (bar when they had that weird Italian for a bit) and they’ll be knocking on the door of the play-offs I’d imagine. But we’ve gone there, let them score first for some entertainment , then played with our dicks out and scored 3. Said before the game but our bench is hilarious and will continue to kill sides at this level.

Ipswich and Leeds are the ones to push us, aren't they?
-
Elis James will be crying into his leeks tonight.
-
Kel scoring with one leg. We are phenomenal. Wheel Michael Sheen out to do a speech now lads.
-
Will say it now as they roll in for Bobby Charlton as it's the most in the head instance – but I *loathe* any instance of someone sending condolences with a caveat that they almost shouldn't? Already seen a few "I'm a Liverpool supporter but..." – get over yourselves, nobody cares who you support. If you have to, just be normal and send sympathies without making it about yourself to begin with.
-
Vardy has to be getting on that.

All far too happy in here. Frustrating 1-0 loss incoming!

Our benches will never stop being hilarious.
-
Nope – we played Fulham on the Monday.

Why would you part with £63 for something you think isn't nice

Was Paul Mitchell ever even an employee?

Working through Boiling Point, just done episode 2, it's absolutely fantastic.

We looked like a good team for a handful of games when he took over. Beyond that it was dull, lifeless mess.

I'm certain that Everton photo is made to look worse by perspective and you could 100% see what's going on if you were in a corner.
-
I might be misremembering but didn’t they try doing it in the summer a few years back and it was, quite simply, too hot?

Na no chance, I daresay the Villa wedge + signing on fee have done a lot for him. Even if he wants out now, he wants out / is on the periphery of an upwardly mobile Premier League club. He’ll get a good move if / when he leaves on that basis alone, before you dive in to outside perceptions. Signing on for us when the league season alone is 8 games longer at a stage where he could already barely move would’ve seen his stock fall even further tbh. I genuinely think 2023 Tielemans struggles in the Championship, where would that leave him? Certainly no better off than he will be when he moves on from Villa.

That goal he got against against Villa wasn't the start of the run, there was 3 months between that and our next win

Seems a bit harsh to lump Atalanta into that bracket.
-
100% yes.
-
Yeah - just you - despite the fact it's been roundly dragged by everyone in this thread.

Sven was after Sousa when we’d done terribly! Getting the latter in in the first instance was the mistake.
-
Of course!

Not really the same but does anyone ever hear the word brandish outside of a footballing context? I don't think anyone has ever brandished anything other than a referee.

He’s trotted this line out a few times to make himself look good, as if he stepped in. There is no way, absolutely no way, that notorious tight arse Daniel Levy was going to let a player very much regarded as a fantastic prospect (despite the loan spells at us and Norwich) go for that figure. Sherwood unsurprisingly talking absolute bollocks.
