Can fully accept he's been underwhelming but won't have any digs at his attitude. He's a lad with little more than a handful of senior league appearances, playing at a higher level (or level of expectation) than he ever has. It'll be natural for him to have moments where he isn't quite switched on, it doesn't mean he's lazy.

Rooney is definitely a Scouse 38 isn't he, how does he look older for having had a hair transplant?
-
Bound to happen when people were rubbing themselves off when there was 30/35 mins left in that one. Dropped points will still do.
-
Absolutely not disputing that by any means!

That Ipswich game isn't over yet, let's not count any chickens

Yeah you have to take away the fact that 90% of them are probably deplorable racists and I know no one really likes them but Leeds are always one of the away sets I look on enviously at.

Desperate for Wilf back now. Vardy was shit, Casadei was too. All too loose in all areas. Ricardo was good and Hamza gave us some bite. Had to lose at some point but annoyed at that. Leeds and Ipswich clearly the ones that’ll be breathing down our necks.

I thought Boiling Point was good but it just didn't seem to go anywhere, it didn't really tie anything up and was left feeling a bit underwhelmed, to be honest. Time was fantastic and definitely benefitted from almost feeling a bit different in tone to the first series which I found brilliantly claustrophobic and tense – but it was the Sean Bean and Stephen Graham show (rightly, they were both fantastic) and the other characters, well cast as they were, just seemed to orbit them. Series 2 felt a lot like some of the other prisoners / prison staff were more fleshed out.

Imagine being a pal of his. "Hi Lewis – you want me to get the day off work to do *what*? Pretend to be a policeman putting tape under a bridge where your hypothetical daughter has been murdered?"
-
Has anybody seen that over-acting guy on TikTok? I don't have it but I've come across him being ridiculed on Twitter; absolutely insane. He creates awful hypothetical situations then acts them out but there isn't even a pinch of tongue in cheekness about it, he definitely wants a part on Line of Duty. I know I shouldn't but I absolutely howl laughing at this sort of stuff, think the fact it's serious for him is what's getting me. Stick some Lewis Capaldi on, do some slow motion crying and wait for the job offers to roll in.

Does Chansiri ever shut up? The guy loves the limelight more than Mandaric did.

Don't think he realised the network of people keeping him steady with us weren't ten a penny and interchangeable – but I absolutely couldn't (and don't) begrudge his move to Chelsea, however poorly he might have gone about it. I do genuinely believe he had plenty left in him to be a very good top half player after leaving us but once he'd fallen out with Sarri that was him done, as sharp a decline as you'll ever see. On the pitch I'll remember him very, very fondly. Off it - less so.

Can't put my finger on why but I really don't like Ten Hag.

He's never going there with Lee Hoos behind the scenes.

Surprised the Wrexham pair admitted defeat so early with regards to not being competitive with the Old Firm as a reason for not taking Arbroath on - as others have touched on one of the core thoughts in their minds must've been the ease of selling the club on should they ever want to, and exposure down here helps with that. There are a litany of other reasons to not want to take on a Scottish club but it really wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to give the Old Firm a wobble. Different kettle of fish now than it was 15/20 years back but Hearts under Romanov gave disrupting them a good go, it didn't work long term because he was a fundamental idiot but I genuinely don't think it's unachievable for a side to bloody their nose. Would just take backing and patience.

Yeah I never bawled laughing at Friends but I gave it a watch in my mid 20s and was more drawn in by how the relationships between the characters developed than it being purely comedy driven. It’s an enjoyable enough show with a likeable cast and it all felt very well done - even if you don’t think it’s funny I think it’s very difficult to objectively label it bad.

The Streets are absolutely crap.
-
No, he isn't.

The more you read how consistent we have to be (even from here) to break that 106 record you realise how insane it is for that to have happened in recent memory in this division. Especially a Reading side who’d never been in the Premier League and had just built up. Makes you realise what monsters that 13/14 side were to get to 102 as well.

So chuffed with this, really excited to see him and Braybrooke get some minutes, especially given how we set up. Go on lads.

Vestergaard being handy in the Championship is a very simplified, very reductive point of view for thinking this guy would be any good if we went up. He has no quantifiable strengths. What does he do? My overriding memory of him is slowly disappearing out of shot on tv as he chases the opposition attacking us, like he’s a plodder in the grand national.
