  1. The thing is once they’ve fleeced the match ticket buying fan as much as they can they’ll be coming for us season ticket holders, guaranteed. It’s absolutely essential that season ticket holders protest against this as much as everyone else, if not more so. I have a season ticket and would absolutely back a boycott or something like a 1st minute walkout. Great response from ufs, the supporters groups should be making a big noise about this, banners outside the training ground, the stadium, get the local mps involved. If you sit back because it only works out at £25 a game on your season ticket don’t complain when in a few years times you’re wondering how it’s suddenly £35/40.
  2. I think you need to make the club realise the rapid disconnect that’s happened between the club and supporters in such a short space of time. In 2021 we lifted the fa cup, Top was on the pitch and cheered by fans, the footballing world was marvelling at how together and close the club was from ownership to supporters. Just 3 years later and there is a massive gulf of animosity opening up, over zealous stewarding, various decisions taken without fan consultation and what feels like a cash grab. If we have a bad season coming we may hear vocal attacks in the stadium for the first time on Top and the ownership. It might be that the owners know and don’t care or it could be that the people brought in are going about their jobs in a cold don’t give a shit about the fans way and the owners aren’t aware of the deep animosity it’s causing. This could cause irreversible damage for Top as once people have turned they don’t forget and often don’t turn back.
  3. First game of the season Monday night can fuch right off. This is we’re the nations supporters groups should be campaigning, first game should be Saturday. Fvcking Monday.
  4. Thats celebrating hard. Literally limbs I remember someone telling me that after our equalising goal against Swindon in the play off final the bloke next to him broke his ankle. The first aid people were trying to get him to go and get treatment but he sat there in a cold sweat refusing to move
  5. I was one of those fans, thanked him and shook his hand. Made the trip to Brighton worth it.
  6. Yes, I was only young myself. I can be seen celebrating behind the goal which my daughter now finds hilarious . Something special about those old away days
  7. I’ve done it a couple of times. Found it much tougher than the national as you get a good rest between peaks with that. That’s a good time though as it took us over 11. One of them did involve me getting stuck in a bog up to my waist with my friends in a line trying to pull me out like in that kids story with the turnip The second time I did it it was well signposted so we followed that rather than mapping it ourselves.
  8. Unless Corberan and the people involved have got a little more about them than meresca and don’t feel the need to be leaking to the media left right and centre.
  9. So if we appoint a manager who looks to get the ball forward quicker next season, will all the newly enlightened tacticians that sprouted up last season be shouting “pass it back, slow it down”
  10. In some defence of him he was hung out by rodgers. He’d been injured all pre-season only getting fit in the week before the first match. rodgers should never have picked him as he was never going to be ready, then when it was clear and his form was bad he never dropped him.
  11. I wouldn’t be surprised either. If complying means selling our best players and not signing anyone of any quality then I fully think they will as otherwise we’re screwed. Which will only make the situation worse. Careful spending to hopefully make us strong enough to stay up with points deductions is probably the way we’ll go if we can’t comply.
  12. Could be useful on bring your dad to work day.
  13. I’ll take that bet and raise you to 5000/1 says they do
  14. I’m telling you, this team is going to win the league.
  15. One of my favourite Vardy goals that. Love the quick turnover of possession, the ball in that put him through giving you that moment of expectation before the finish.
  16. Ha ha, yes, realised that when I re-read your post. I wondered why you were being a bit harsh on me. Teach me for waking up and reading foxestalk before I’ve fully opened my eyes.
  17. I took this as a sign we're getting Corbaran, doesn't he like to force play out wide with big units defending the balls into the box.
  18. Could it be that his loan contract runs to June 30th. Therfore the new deal kicks in on the 1st July?
  19. Didn’t someone post a daily mail article on here earlier in the week saying that we’d most likely get 4 points? Why isn’t everyone jumping on that like they seem to be the 15 points that’s been reported?
  20. Grobyfox. Apologies, thought you were having a pop at me
  21. I though Alves and Braybrooke signed new contracts as they were returning from injury???
  22. **** me, I went out about 5pm just as this was announced, come back 5 hours and five pages later and people are still raging and ranting the same thing over and over
  23. I would add that the club would be wise to change and become more fan focused as there is a fast growing undercurrent discontent that is getting louder and louder, this is going to cause animosity and problems for the club/board in the near future. We’re seeing already it with the foxes trust membership rising and the trust reform group, they’ll ignore it their own peril, trouble is brewing unless they change, or change the people that are making these decisions that show no fan consideration.
  24. The difference seems to be that wolves appear willing to listen to its fans and react upon their thoughts. As on the other hand we don’t appear to want any fan involvement, won’t listen, and see the fans groups as an hinderance rather than a valuable asset who can have valuable input into making the Matchday experience better for all. They’re not fan centric and have no interest in being so, I doubt the wolves trust would have had any success with our club.
