Got to say I'm impressed with how loud the chant was, didn't think it would happen.

Which player would lead to a higher finish.
Vlad the Fox replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
Huth. Without him we’d have gone down and everything that followed wouldn’t have happened. Morgan was looking out of his depth until he arrived and then he became twice the player that led us to the premier league title. -
Missed a lot of this thread so apologies if this has been posted. The Swiss ramble has the women’s team as 4m for 23/24. I was told at the end of the 22/23 season that the budget for the women’s team for 23/24 was being increased to £10m which would knock £6m off the £12m over he claims we could be.

I thought that was manderic who tried to sack him and it was Vichai who gave him a job for life. Hope all is well with him.

How do you define a club legend?
Vlad the Fox replied to Torquay Gunner's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’d go longevity, contributions to the team particularly towards success or successful periods. But I’d argue it’s not a personal thing, for a player to be a club legend it needs to be widely accepted by the fan base. No one is going to argue against Vardy, but I thought Lynex was great but would the majority consider him a legend? -

Was nice not having var slowing the game down. I think it must have been about a minute from Vardy’s penalty being given and him converting. -

He had spells where he wouldn’t give anything, particularly after Vardy’s second penalty shout and then periods where he’d give anything and everything. -
Syston been hit bad, East Goscote flooded for the first time, Rearsby looks worse than it’s ever been, Thrussington hit really bad. Thankfully gone or going now in most places but wow, never seen anything like it round here.

Maybe we could sneak an extra player on and no one will notice.

That’s not getting called off, you can see the far goal. I think you only have to see both goals from the halfway line.

Fvck em, I've gone. Useless w4nkers.

Listening to talk sport in the week and the times sports reporter said that this stems from when we were in the champions league and real madrid were furious that we got more tv money from it than they did that season. With this and the “we don’t want another Leicester City”, it just shows how corrupt the top clubs are to want to bend the rules their way. We really did break football, the greedy bastards couldn’t hack it, they don’t want competition. While they persist eufa should expel them from all European competition. If it moves further forward then the powers that be should warn that any club joining will be expelled from all domestic competitions. It’s a tv fantasy for armchair fans on the other side of the world.

No, you’d get caught in the traffic of the late arrivals.

At the end of last season it was reported that Enzo wanted a meeting with the club hierarchy about restructuring above him. Enzo said it wasn’t about replacing people but more about having more people in place to help those already there, They had the meeting and these things were agreed on and Enzo committed himself to the club (obviously before chelsea came knocking, which was felt in the bitter statement the club released when he left. Question is why didn’t the club act upon what was discussed even though Enzo left? It’s almost like he went and they went “sod that then”, they should still have improved the structure regardless.

I made an enemy of my school librarian and she refused to sign my leavers card. 36 years later and I’ve still not officially left school, might squeeze into my old sports kit and pop in for PE tomorrow.

Think you’ll find songs of praise listeners will be late to the match as it’s on early afternoon you heathen.

He was running right towards me in that image and I could lip read what he was saying. “You ****ing beauties, I ****ing love you”

Leicester City vs West Ham United Tactical Analysis
Vlad the Fox replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Particularly liked this quote from his post match interview; "The early goal helped, but there were so many duels, tackles and blocks. That’s when fans applaud you. It’s a non-negotiable for us moving forward - that is the attitude [needed]." -

What I liked about that was that he’d just scored his first prem goal was buzzing yet he still had time for you. Plus you wasted about 5 minutes of time -
Didn’t he get clattered by Antonio? I was wondering if he was injured as there was a point late in injury time where it seemed players were avoiding passing to him when he was in a prime position to take it into a corner. He did look to be struggling.
