Would love to see Brendan have a bit more passion on the sideline I know it’s not his style but it makes it so frustrating seeing us play absolutely awful and him not saying or doing anything.

Injuries or not, you should still look like you want to win a football match.

No passion, no intensity, we literally look like Newcastle, absolutely terrible. Why does it look like we don’t want to win? I don’t know about anyone else but it really winds me up seeing nothing from Rodgers on the sideline doesn’t look bothered just like the rest of the team. Not watching anymore if I’m going to be bored to death EVERY game.

Starting to get very worried, really don’t understand why we’re not splashing cash, 5th last season... proper chance to become a ‘top 6’ side and it seems like nothing is happening, we have to spend. That squad is not big enough or good enough to do well in Europe and the league next season.

I’d like us to sign Erik Lamela, think that’s the type of player we need.

All I see is heavy touches and no final product, think we have to be looking at a lot better wingers if we want to challenge for anything next season.

I think Maddison had a good game and was definitely one of our best players tonight but his finishing just lacks so much it’s like he tries to make everything look good rather than just hitting it, I really hope that changes.

Our recent performances are worrying, how you can try and be positive after a result like that is beyond me, because I can’t.

Even so, just put your fu*king foot through it, the amount of times he put us under pressure was ridiculous, the style were trying to play from the back just isn’t working at all.

If tonight’s result doesn’t scream 2 new wingers then I don’t know what does, Perez isn’t a winger and Harvey Barnes just isn’t quite good enough yet.

I thought Jonny Evans had a shocker tonight he looked so scared to pass the ball and what’s with the pace of our football at the minute? We look dreadful at times. 👎🏽
