He’s found a way to get a large amount of those that would blindly follow him to cast doubt. I personally know a few people that drank the cool aid previously who have now opened their eyes. I think he’s lost the moderate republicans and he’s now just got the radicals left and even some of them are struggling to do the mental gymnastics to rationalize some of the stuff he does.

I’m in the huge minority but I like winks’ character on the pitch. You can see he visually communicates. He’s always in the refs ear. He brought back a bit of the dark arts that we lacked and helped us learn a bit of gamesmanship. I’m not sure if he’s a popular figure around the club but I’d put a dollar on the fact that he would be. No, the media say the players got those managers fired to sell papers. Every single manager you’ve listed was fired justifiably. Theres not a single one that should have had a day longer in the job imo, so how that gets spun as the players getting them fired is beyond me. senior pros are asked their honest thoughts and share. It’s not the same thing. I’d be more worried if we were firing managers without assessing the feeling within the squad first tbqh.

I mean it was evident nobody in the squad bought into cooper. We wanted him gone as well. He’s played 46 career games, scoring 16 and assisting 4. Hes been with barca most of his career so Marti likely knows a lot about him. The Spanish connection with the coach would be huge. I definitely would have preferred a player that we could purchase but I think this would be too good of a fit to ignore majority of what you see in this video, is him being successful at winning the ball high up with intense pressing… exactly what Marti has been described to want from his striker

If you take a step backwards, our squad isn’t far off the “best ever squad in the championship “ from a few season ago. We lost kdh and vardy but now have bilal,(currently) nelson and monga and other talented youth available. I really don’t think the negativity is relevant. Nobody denies the mismanagement from the board but we have a talented coach and crop of players and have the potential to have an enjoyable season. I don’t see how a fan can’t be excited about this season tbh. I will be until it all goes wrong as always.
