On the surface that’s a fair comment but when our club is slipping into the mire and there is serious work to be done… it’s a bit frustrating to see him focusing on his hobby. The only 2 trips to England this summer have been around his polo and meanwhile our club is falling further behind. both his main businesses are in in defcon 4 and he doesn’t seem too bothered about sorting that out in a hurry. Maybe it doesn’t matter, we’ve got the manager decided, the shirts and sponsor has been agreed but that to me is the bare minimum we needed resolved

To me they are proving that the ‘gap is too massive’ stuff is a nonsense. Because even sunderland can go up and sign all this top talent. We simply didn’t have the bravery to compete. I would go as far as saying that’s our worst ever window. worse than even the champions league one. Easily could made this season and easy one with the right attitude in the marked but cooper has utterly shafted us.

I think there are 3 paths from here. One where he continues as he’s been doing and takes the club further backwards than when his family purchased us and he’s seen as an ultimate failure. one where he yo-yos us for a few seasons and eventually sells and is seen as incompetent but leaves with an okay reputation or at least he wouldn’t be hated the 3rd path is he rights the wrongs. Leans into youth development, makes us financially sustainable. Gets past all the psr nonsense, replaces the board and gets us back into the prem and stable. Of the 3 I think the positive one sounds the most unrealistic

Also a rare occasion where the club are right…. 1) we aren’t in the premier league so we aren’t going to pay what Everton were. That’s an outlandish request. (Unless he meant he wouldn’t get that if we went up) 2) the club want a certain direction and perhaps certain coach’s have been hand picked for that. Kingy and clearly attempted with BBM 3) I get why we wouldn’t have an answer, depends who we can get out the door. Club can’t commit to 15m and then we don’t raise enough funds and the manager is angry as he feels lied to. Again, could be more because they wouldn’t say we need to sell to buy etc. my last point, dyche clearly isn’t the man for the job if he needs assurances on buying players because our squad is extremely good at this level and a good manager wouldn’t feel they need big investment
