Squad looked like it knew what it was doing. I think we have bilal buy in and I’m starting to think he might stay
-
Certainly nailed down his place today. not sure why vestergarde is the chosen partner and hope Nelson can win the spot but I get Marti, Nelson looked out of sorts against koln, just kept fouling
-

Normally live a short without a sponsor but something looks off with this one. would love a big fat walkers logo in the middle of it
-
And they managed to lose after he went off, so he should keep his spot.
-
If we ended up with someone like kone and someone like this, I’d be very happy. 6 in 18 games last season so at 18 years old deffo worth watching
-
Problem we seem to have is that we don’t commit. We always seem to be hoping we can get that better player and tend to leave players hanging on as options. if we seriously put a bid in, he’ll be coming here.
-
Ahhhhh shiiiiiiiiit
-
He’s got quite the story. Came out to his parents as gay and ended up getting kicked out and became homeless. Played in the homeless World Cup. Which I didn’t even know was a thing. Fair play to him for kicking on from that

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

Without being too much of a Debbie downer, we would simply get ripped apart if our left hand side was aluko and monga. Aluko in my opinion should get a loan to a top league 1 club -
Genuinely, still Leicester. We still have pedigree. We over pay everyone. We have one of the best training grounds / spas/ golf courses in the country. you’d be number one choice because all other options are shite. And we have no bargaining power to prevent us selling you on if you’re a success. don’t let a fans view of our shambles of a club get in the way of the reality for a player. We’re a too good gig for a player imo

I give Justin the benefit of the doubt for the last few seasons. He has previously proven he can step up in the prem. But any half decent offer should be accepted -
Conor Coady sold to Wrexham - official

I think you’re buzzing as a Wrexham fan. They were in the conference 3 years ago. same comments would have been made about James Mcclean. It’s still a calibre of player they wouldn’t have imagined having just a few moments in life ago. -

I do think that if JJ leaves we need to consider a new left back. I’m just not convinced Thomas is going to be right for cifuentes and I’m already getting the feeling woyo isn’t rated. VK has no interest in being here. I can see this very quickly becoming a problem area on the pitch. striker, creative cm and lb with some outgoings and we are in business. -

What do you mean? We are in August? It’s taken the whole summer to get one bastard out the door (plus all of January where he was trying everything to escape) -

Don’t worry, we will give his wages to max lowe in a week -
That’s the thing, it makes complete sense for us to do it. But we have just created a very unsustainable situation for ourselves. The wage bar is so high for us now that we’re struggling to reverse it and we are just simply above our stature as a club. The contracts we give to even our youth players are supposedly astronomical compared to others and i wouldn’t be surprised if we are still paying more than clubs like brentford. I’m not sure the solution because as you said, this is a top deal and one that we probably need to do if it’s possible. But we just have to know that if we are even competing for him then when that next player who would ordinarily sign for 25k comes along, they will be asking for double to match someone like him. I just hope that the championship wage is reasonable and the prem increase is what’s attracting him and motivating him to get us up
-
I think the last game highlighted why he won’t work well for us in half the games. Any team that comes at us his lack of mobility makes it so hard to counter and he runs the lines so poorly. I still see him being useful as a player coming off the bench for the last 15 to see out games. We desperately need a proper striker
-
Really hope we don’t get a hammering in this one, a draw would be a big confidence boost for a squad that probably have some doubts after last season.

Players you disliked, but reluctantly rated...

Danny Drinkwater is the answer to this. seemed a proper tool but what a player he was for us -
That’s literally everyone’s top selling priorities without even knowing the wages (minus Ricardo)
-
I’m sorry but it was criminal even giving vesty a contract, how has he got one on such large terms? I thought we’d all accepted because it was longer than it should have been the wage would be reasonable. despicable if true
-
I do think this would be good business even on decent wages however…. My one reservation is that yet again, this signing indicates that we aren’t getting our wage structure back in line. in our situation after breaching psr so many times largely due to horrid wage structures for dirge players…. We should not be able to offer better terms than a prem team. We are just keeping the cycle of overpaying going and that means the next player in line for a contract uses it as a measuring stick and we stay stuck. Even with the reduced wages, our players are double if not more what most championship sides will be paying
-
Personally, I’d be looking to get pierce charles from Sheffield weds. He’s got a bright future ahead of him so we should take advantage of their situation

Match vs Derby County will be shown live on ITV

blimey this season has so much potential for national embarrassment. losing to sheffield wednesdays kit men. derby beating us on itv. wrexham documentary as they hammer former prem champions. relegation to league 1 after a huge points deduction. a kit sponsor landing susan whelan in jail i can’t wait the fear i had going to school after losing 6-1 to pompy could pale in significance to some of this.
