blimey this season has so much potential for national embarrassment. losing to sheffield wednesdays kit men. derby beating us on itv. wrexham documentary as they hammer former prem champions. relegation to league 1 after a huge points deduction. a kit sponsor landing susan whelan in jail i can’t wait the fear i had going to school after losing 6-1 to pompy could pale in significance to some of this.

i wonder if they think project reset is an actual group and not just a fart in the wind?

i don’t like the bloke as a footballer but find it odd how many dislike him because he has an interest in broadcasting etc. I don’t care about that stuff at all, he just is pony at football and was as horrific as i expected him to be when we signed him. genuinely believe he was carried at wolves and has never been decent. but fair play to him because he’s got a decent reputation for someone who’s never been prem standard

Jakub is fine but I think we will find out that mads is the Enzo of keepers. We won’t realise how good he is until he’s at a top club. I think he’ll go right to the top and west ham will be a stepping stone. Exactly why a sell on clause should be a must. It will be a nice boost when we are in league 1

You know I very loudly stated I’d stay well clear but at 5m that’s worth a try tbqh. I didn’t want us near him at the reported 10m but I think it’s a no brainer at that price. some real value striker deals floating around this season.

In an ideal world yes but you’re not getting proven player, who just rinsed the league for free at that age and we haven’t got a pot to piss in. This is a very good deal and one you’d be frustrated to see Wrexham or brum get makes sense to me. Even with large wages it will still save a lot of money for that elusive striker

I think Danny Rohl ends up at sunderland. I really don’t rate their manager and I think they’ve been stumbling through pre-season and feels like with the mega money going in, their owners may not be patient. Rohl would be the easy choice for a club who want to be ambitious and sunderland are certainly not playing it safe
