Yep, a pragmatic, dare I saw old school, manager is what we needed. We have the players to win the league if we setup sensibly. This slavish adherence to a possession based ideal when we don’t have the players, have a high squad turn over, and need an immediate return to the championship for financial reasons is baffling. We’re setting ourselves up to fail, again. It boggles the mind how Rudkin is still in charge given he has overseen the trainwreck of the last two seasons and is making the same mistakes again. How quickly some are happy to accept that 'at the end of the day, we're a league one side and they are premier league'. Two seasons ago we were premier league. It's catastrophic how far we have fallen, and how so many are willing to accept it.

Losing is a habit, one we’ve had for the last two seasons. All we needed to do was play solid, no nonsense football, and we’d be getting results. Instead we are dicking about on the edge of our area, giving away soft goals, and getting an entire new squad ingrained with the habit of failure and loss.

Nothing I saw yesterday made me change my opinion.
