Alan Nixon is a good source (despite working for the Sun). He said last week that Bournemouth would be back in again for Gray. I’d happily sell him for £25m
-
Makes perfect sense, Sane, Sterling and Mahrez play 35/40 games each on rotation, less injuries and fresher, especially for CL later rounds where arguably they weren’t at their best against Liverpool in the first leg and showed signs of fatigue. Plus Mahrez is also much more capable of breaking down teams in tight space than Bernardo Silva.

Alan Nixon is actually the only red top ITK, this might have substance

Portugal’s best right back. Good start

Mediocre stats? Jahankahbash has one of the highest combined expected goals and expected assist numbers in Europe. PL 38 Goals 18 Assists 12 - highest goal contributor in Holland this season (above Neres and Ziyech). Abysmal league that some of the best PL players have come from Eriksen, Van Persie, Robben, Luis Suarez, Van Nistelrooy, Vertonghen... Maddison - highest overall key passes/90 in the Championship, 14 goals, 8 assists ahead of Neres and Jota. Arsenal, Leicester and Spurs interested already, he’ll be in the PL next season. Same league that Vardy came from. This anti championship snobbery is amusing. Elyounouissi - scored a goal and assist against Man City at the etihad in the CL. Also scored against Benfica in the brilliant 2-0 away win in the CL. Yeah very ‘average’. As expected you don’t have any names, just quick to bash as per. I guess mahrez was always going to be sh*t because he came from an abysmal league too? Diabate is actually showing signs that’s he’s better than Gray already, but no he must be sh*t.

You might be in for a shock in the Summer if you think we’re going to replace Mahrez with one marque ‘big name’ signing, it’s safer to buy two young prospects who’ve shown high creativity levels in the range of £20/£30m each, as it reduces the risk of a ‘bust’ or if the ‘big name’ gets a long term injury. I’ve asked you for your Mahrez replacement suggestions previously, but then radio silence. Names please...

More often than not it does

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla disagree, but "AKCJ of foxestalk" knows better. Seems like you didn't do your research on Jahankabash or Elyounoussi either. Bit like when you thought Amartey would turn out better than Ndidi (and lost our bet)?
-
Incorrect we’ve been watching Elyounoussi for quite some time. Who are your picks that would *realistically* come to Leicester as Mahrez replacements? Ideally I’d want Depay, Richarlison or Ziyech - sadly they’re not realistic anymore. We’re not the draw we once were, we blew that chance in the 2016 summer window...
-
Mahrez replacement - buy two under 25 players with very high creativity levels Europe - Jahanbakhsh, Elyounoussi, Nakajima/Paulinho (Portimonese), Oyarzabal Championship - Maddison or Ollie Watkins RB - Jonny Castro, especially as he’s so versatile being able to play LB also. We’ve had links with Ricardo Pereira who has been doing brilliantly for Porto and would be a significant upgrade on Simpson. Wouldn’t say no to Rondon at his RC of £16.5m. He’s unselfish and a worker, could play with Vardy.
-
Depay is decent, managed incorrectly by LVG. Some of the best PL players have come from Eredivisie: Van Nistelrooy Eriksen Suarez Van Persie Robben Stam Vertonghen Kuyt
-
He's rapid and very direct too, plus he constantly looks for a better placed attacker on breaks.
-
He’s 20 and played non stop for 18 months (Brazil in the summer). Been overplayed, Watford have been on a bad run since the Silva/Everton saga, he has the making of a top class player.
-
Richarlison on the left would be great, especially if Diabate continues to develop and plays on the right, that could be devastating with Vardy or Iheanacho up front
-
If he left: Ziyech ~ £30/£35m Carrasco (OK major, major longshot €50m RC) Richarlison - £40/£45m Thorgan Hazard £25/£30m Ben Arfa loan
-
No worries, no harm done.
-
Haha you really do sound like a fanboy. I rate Slimani but to say he is quick, is utterly deluded. FYI I tweeted this earlier today, so think again about your statement...
-
”he’s quick” haha! Tbf he’d be a good fit with Matt Ritchie pinging in crosses.
-
I’d rather spend £8/£10m on Sarr, he’s progressing and hasn’t reached his peak yet.
-
Correct, we have first option on him for around that price.
-
Maddison played the majority of the game as a striker, his best position is attacking midfield where he can feed strikers in front of him. His pass from midfield to Klose, gave Klose enough time and space for him to whip the ball into Lewis for thier goal.
-
Very good game last night playing RB in 2-0 victory vs Strasbourg, moving Marseille into second spot of Ligue 1. 9 clearances, 6 headers won, 95% pass accuracy and a clean sheet.
-
Currently the leader of Key Passes per 90 in the Championship (2.8 per game), probably the best indicator to creativity (ahead of Neves, Jota etc). Plays mainly as a CAM, which would be ideal - we’d likely play as the forward midfielder in a true 4231. Ted Knutson (ex Brentford scout/data guru) rates him highly... Stiff competition though it seems...
