  1. He’s pretty much always bang on, and he only provides info for Belgium players.
  2. Looks like it’s not fake. I’ll have one Neal Maupay please.
  3. He spoke about Mahrez kicking off in training on the actual day, James Maddison interest in Feb 2018 and Brendan Rodgers in July 2018. He’s got very good links with agents.
  4. Maguire £75m (less Hull 15%), £63.75m should do the trick
  5. Lobotka wouldn’t surprise me, Mladen Sormaz - Head of Analytics, raves about him (rightly so) and we were rumoured to have show an interest in Jan. Ndidi, Tielemens, Hamza and Lobotka means you’re all set for every competition, with the ability to rotate with low drop off.
  6. Eriksen hasn't signed an extension (despite multiple offers from Spurs) and his contract runs out in 2020, if he stalls, they'll have to sell him this summer for £90m+, otherwise they risk a Ramsey/Sanchez situation. I wouldn't discount them yet.
  7. This is bad. Nixon is very much on the ball with comings and goings (Maddison, Rodgers, Mahrez he called months ahead of time).
  8. To get Monaco to sell him to us now, it would take close to £45m IMO, they'd also want Silva at a cut price being 30 yrs old - they'll probably value him at £12/13m. So we're looking at paying a difference of around £32m. I'd pay it, there is very little chance we'd find a player of his quality and age, that clearly fits into our system and has adapted already to the physicality of the PL. Plus securing him early, allows us to focus on a getting a striker, winger (preferably Daniel James) and LB to replace Fuchs if he leaves.
  9. I still remember going to Swansea (in the Championship) we were completely dominated and passed off the park. We couldn’t get the ball off them. He’ll get us playing good football, but at a faster tempo.
  10. This guy is immense, has been earning rave reviews. He’s got it all, quick feet, sticks to his man like glue, has a nasty side to him and plays the ball with ease. Arsenal fans are already going ape sh*t that we might sign him.
  11. La Liga is a good standard, he also showed up when getting an assist and MOTM during the 3-0 hiding of Atletico Madrid. Of course there is risk, but the lads only 23 and has shown real progression in the last year.
  12. Use Per 90 mins otherwise you’re using false info, he played 1584 minutes which is actually 17.6 x 90mins (games) Januzaj 3 goals 5 assists 1584 mins 0.45 per 90 Gray 3 goals 1 assist 1680 mins 0.21 per 90 Albrighton 2 goals 7 assists 2551 mins 0.31 per 90
  13. The simple version is last year he was streets ahead of Albrighton and Gray in build up play, chance creation, assists, and finishing. If he plays like that he’d offer a new dynamic. Obviously there is risk as under Moyes he was a shell of himself having been shipped to Dortmund, then landing at Sunderland.
  14. If it’s the 17/18 Janujaz, hell yeah...
  15. Wolves most likely, can’t see him being anywhere near ready for Utd as he’s off this week too.
  16. Started 1 out of the last 161 games as a true winger (vs Watford), has played some games deeper as a right mid, but would scream of ‘square pegs round holes’ if we tried to play him as an attacking winger. Benching either him or Maddison in their best positions would also be a waste of resources, although we’re pretty good at that.
  17. Crudely yes, but you do have to also account for build up play and the PL being a better standard. Mahrez is still the best player for his build up (last season he accounted for 50% of Leicester goals in terms of setting up the pass before the assist, assists and goals). But it does show that Hazard and Ghezzal are better at creating and scoring goals than both Gray and Albrighton.
  18. Expected is usually a better guide as it includes shot location, eg overall difficulty of shot, was the assist so good it laid up a one on one, or did it set someone up to shoot from 18 yards out with 3 defenders in the vicinity? This accounts for that. It’s usually a more stable guide, as it doesn’t over inflate players on hot streaks who actually aren’t that great. (eg Joshua King at Bournemouth)
  19. I’ll leave this here: Expected Non-penalty goals and assists per 90 mins play (Production). Ghezzal 17/18 0.48 16/17 0.38 15/16 0.69 T. Hazard 17/18 0.50 16/17 0.40 15/16 0.54 Gray 17/18 0.32 16/17 0.25 Albrighton 17/18 0.26 16/17 0.22 15/16 0.34 Mahrez 17/18 0.43 16/17 0.36 15/16 0.55
  20. Correct
  21. We do miss you on Twitter Bert, you were always so right...
  22. Getafe conceded just 33 goals/38 games in La Liga last season, Barca 29 and Real 44 - that’s insane levels. Djene is short (around 5’9/5’10) though but he’s Kante like in terms of tackling ability, with his lack of height he’d be ideal ‘cleaning up’ in a back 3, in a back 2 there is always the risk of getting beaten from crosses.
  23. He’s a CM with versatility...
  24. RoyFox

    Ahmed Musa

They signed Amrabat recently, and are paying him £10m over 3 seasons... he’s 31. This could actually happen
  25. As a 49ers fan that made me chuckle, with Seattle’s dreadful O Line, they’re in for a torrid time next season!
