  1. I sort of understand the loyalty bit, but if this is the case just move Rudkin to another part of the KP empire. Send him to be head of the stud farm at the stables. I'm sure the stallions would find some pleasure in rogering him.
  2. Loved Ricardo, thought he was a great player in his prime and a good ambassador for the club. However, I think he's not a great leader and I question whether he would be able to be a really top coach as I feel he hasn't got that nasty streak that makes great managers/coaches.
  3. Or we could appoint Steve Bull and have a cock and bull story
  4. Raj, I'm not suggesting he's the Messiah - but his performance was top notch yesterday. 9/10 on BBC player ratings suggests it was somewhere near outstanding. But I am with you, a one off every 3 seasons is not good enough. However, his wages are somewhat irrelevant as that's what JR was prepared to pay him. Unlike some of the other high earners, at least Daka does appear to put a shift in most games.
  5. Daka ability is questionable, but if the rest of the team put in the effort he does, we wouldn't be in this position. Daka has been poor for most of the season, but you surely can't deny he was outstanding yesterday?
  6. Does that only count as half a goal, then.
  7. Not necessarily trying to defend Daka, but you watch Daka's Salzburg games and the ability was there (at a higher level than Fleetwood). Perhaps Daka's lost all confidence and self belief too.
  8. If you have an I Phone it's easy to refresh Tap the three dots at the top right of your pass Tap Pass details Turn off automatic updates Then turn back on automatic updates. This should update your season ticket. Hope that helps.
  9. Try not to gloat too much, if we win, be humble, otherwise the sofa and a Barclay's will all you get Saturday night.
  10. Thought the introduction of Daka and Winks gave us a little more control of the game. Daka was pressing far more than Ayew which led to Bristol giving away the ball more and Winks was able to help us retain the the ball better. Just my opinion.
  11. QPR will offer a different challenge. They are physically strong and we have struggled to cope with teams who impose themselves on us. Technically we are far better, but could easily get bullied in this one.
  12. Thought he did fine last night. Have to accept he's poor on the ball, but his defending complemented Nelson last night. Best he's played for 90 minutes this season.
  13. And there in lies the problem. I'm struggling to recall when we last won.
  14. The Clash Question I ask at half time 'Should I stay or should I go'
  15. Kristiansen is out for the season. Although that may still be an improvement on Thomas.
  16. Pretty sure I heard Kristiansen was out for the season
  17. Just a question, would you be happier if in our next 5 matches we drew them all 0 - 0 or if we won them, 3 - 2, 2 - 1, 3 -1, 4 - 2 and 2 -1. Yes, I agree keeping a clean sheet ensures you at least get a draw, but I'm happy to concede a goal or two if we keep winning.
  18. Can't see how you can drop Winks on last 2 performances. If anyone needs dropping it's probably Mavadidi IMO
  19. I suspect both are injured - thought I heard Fatawu was carry a twinge to his knee and that's why he wasn't selected for the cup match, so it may have been a bit more serious than reported. Also, some have said they haven't seen Ayew in the training photo's this week, which also suggests an injury.
  20. The comparison is, don't write a bloke off, who has had relative success at Championship level, just because he has been sacked from his last job at a club some consider well below us, just like Greece weren't a fashionable team at international level when Ranieri got sacked after losing to the Faroe Islands. We aren't in a position to attract elite managers anymore.
  21. A bit like getting the man sacked by Greece after losing 1 - 0 to the Faroe Islands.
  22. Could go either way I suppose. Like other managers he may not get a tune out of some of the 'talented' players he's mentioned that are in the squad or he could galvanise the squad and keep us up through being resilient and pragmatic. If he does keep us up and fans can see the team spirit and effort has vastly improved, I hope they give him a go next year, as at this level he should do well. With a complete overhaul of the squad and a full pre season, which has been lacking recently, he may start to build something good again.
  23. That's because basically there aren't any - think it's the best we could hope for in our financial situation and league position.
  24. Can you elaborate? Winks or Vestergaard
  25. Rudders will take another 2 weeks trying to convince Dyche to come here only for him to turn us down again as the Burnley job will have become vacant.
