Has been shortlisted for the Championship Young Player of the Season. Alongside Ashley Phillips (Stoke City), Sydie Peck (Sheff Utd) and Bobby Clark (Derby). https://www.efl.com/news/2026/april/07/efl-awards-2026--shortlist-and-how-to-watch/

I don't think that anyone that has watched us play against PNE or Sheff Wed could honestly say that we've played well.
-
If it's not the responsibility of the manager to ensure that players aren't making consistent defensive errors or not finishing chances then whose it it? Rowett keeps playing the players that are letting him down.
-
If it was October i'd agree with you but results are going to keep us in the division, not xG.
-
He's going to be the manager of choice for the one of the richest clubs in Europe to replace the best manager of all time and yet you still get people on here who would rather have a plodder like Rowett.

Can someone learned in the arts of AI dub the Red Leicester Sausage Rolls song over Goose playing Great Balls of Fire in Topgun?
-
Sounds like we're agreeing then. We need to sign experienced first teamers.

Just isn't a number 8. Always looks shocking with Winks. Have to drop Winks and stop pretending he's not a key reason we're in this mess. Skipp James Mukasa That's the only way.
-
Huth, Fuchs, Evans and Iborra would all fall into the bracket of successful signings of 30+ year old lads too.
-
Looking forward to the opposition keeper being hailed as a hero for saving 8 shots directly at him.

After a challenging match that saw us fall 4–1, brightened by a superb goal from Winks, we now look ahead to life in Sky Bet League 1 with renewed focus and optimism. The hard work starts now. Congratulations to Millwall on their promotion to the Premier League. #newbeginnings #BCGame -
"Deliberately bland in tone" perfectly sums up Leicester City's communications department.
-
We have to sign some experience if we're only keeping academy lads. Obviously the likes of Ayew, Reid, Vestergaard etc will have people worried but we need to sign the next Morgan, Huth, Fuchs etc to give these lads stability and to maintain high standards.
-
It's not about getting us, it's about protecting themselves in the future. They have to ensure the rules they set are abided by and rule breaking is appropriately punished otherwise chaos will reign (if it isn't already!)
-
I think we'll be favourites to win the next two (but we won't).
-
I don't think it will. They'll not sign him because he'll be considered tainted and will spend until the last week of July pissing around before offering it to whichever Wasserman client is available.
-
The club's insistence on not being in a relegation fight is staggering. Say it like it is Anthony!
-
Nice waste of time and money. Wonder if Aiyawatt will start taking accountability.

Someone with high levels of emotional intelligence, who leads by example and has the vision and innovation needed to cash in on the immense potential that our club has. To put it bluntly. We need the next Nigel Pearson / Martin O'Neill. We need someone to come in, rattle cages, point out blatant bad behaviour and build the right mentality needed for a club to thrive. Leicester City has always performed well when we've been manager-led and we've always massively underperformed when we've been led by the board. It's beyond time that the board swallowed their pride and left the running of the club to someone with those attributes. I'd love us to have a 2011/12 season where Nigel came in and put things right. Got rid of blatant bad eggs and got a dressing room together that was on his side. Bad results crept in and we lacked consistency but you could see what he was building and it gave the fans a team we could get behind before a play off season in 12/13 and eventual promotion in 13/14. That is the route we have to take.

Ticket for Swansea Game - in area on holiday!
AKCJ replied to OnHoliday's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Wait they're not bothering to put the Swansea game on general sale? -
I've done a game by game predictor and i've got us and Pompey going down with Cov and Milwall going up. I think we will end up having to go to Blackburn and winning and hoping that Oxford lose. I think Oxford will lose to Milwall on the last day but we won't beat Blackburn.

Especially considering two of them were put on a plate through terrible defending.
