Anyone had any issues with a burner phone and giving it to friends/family this season?

I honestly think we can get out of the bottom

Their fixture list is very difficult. We need to use this weekend as an opportunity to get ahead, especially as Blackburn play WBA and Oxford play Portsmouth. Charlton have enough points to probably be safe. Blackburn's fixtures probably mean a bad weekend and they'll be right back in it. West Brom's away record is shambolic but their remaining away games are all very winable. -
I don't know if it's just because Leicester have harmed my love for football this year but I think i've watched maybe 2 non-Leicester Championship games this season on Sky. I just think it's a really weak product. The quality isn't there.

Would free signings and loans still require agents to be paid? I'd have thought so.

Same divs that hounded Claude Puel out for his accent. Marti was objectively not good enough to be the Leicester City manager and Gary Rowett has done nothing to suggest he is yet either.

He's just had 8 weeks off and will probably have a similar number of weeks off in a month and a couple of months time btw. -

I'd expect the manager to have used this opportunity to work on ensuring we give ourselves the best chance possible to win the next two games over the Easter weekend. Given he's barely had any time with the squad (granted a small handful are away on internationals) I would have thought he'd use that opportunity to his advantage and not to spend it on holiday so soon after a huge break. That is all. -

Calm down big head. Who claimed I was an authority on football management? If this is the route you want to go down, what gives your opinions a greater weight to mine? He's been here for 10 minutes and the first chance of spending time with his squad he takes a holiday despite the position we are in and then plastered it on social media. All well and good until we're 20 minutes in on Friday and 2-0 down with the squad looking as clueless as ever. Saying that, he's won 1 game in 7 here in his 42 days so perhaps you're right. Spending as little time as possible with the squad is probably beneficial. -

I'm not on millions a year as the figurehead of a company that is failing massively but yes, I do occasionally give up my spare time to get myself ahead during busy periods of the year in order to meet deadlines. -

The fact that you think it would be presenteeism means we can't have a good debate on it. I firmly believe that he does not need a weekend away after being in the job for a little over a month and having previously been out of work for around two months. Especially considering the current situation the club is in and the fact he can go for a months long holiday in a few weeks time should he wish to. He's paid more than well enough for us to expect his full attention during this period of the season. He's been in the job for exactly 42 days. In which time we've played 7 games. Assuming they don't train on the day of a game or the day after, plus an extra day off in the week, it means he's spent 21 days with the squad on the training ground doing his job. This week was a perfect opportunity to use the ~17/18 first team players he has available to him to really get his ideas down before two of the biggest games we've had in years given the potential consequences of relegation. I'm not asking him to sit at Seagrave for 20 hours a day. I'm asking the manager of the club to forego a long weekend in the sun in order to maximise the chances of success in those two games. His full attention should be on PNE and Sheffield Wednesday, not his tan. For me, this is in keeping with the soft touch the club has developed over the last few years where there are no standards or pride in a strong work ethic. Seagrave is a collection of people here solely for the money we dish out and not the collective aims and ambitions of the supporters. We're in the bottom three with a handful of games to go in April and our manager is going on holidays and posting it on social media. It'd be funny if it were Forest, Cov or Derby. -

How many of those are realistically going to be involved in the first team? In terms of undisputed starters i'm counting two but then you've probably got to play one of the two strikers. I'd say that 4 of those players would start in what Rowett would see as our best 11. -

If he'd been in charge all season i'd almost agree with you. He's just taken the job. -

I think a man with his responsibilities and pay should be able to go 1 month and a half without sunning himself. Especially when he's in charge of a team that is massively underperforming. He's not some admin-level office worker that should just clock off at 5pm and forget about work when he's not there. He's taken a job with the remit of keeping us in this division and he should be spending every hour he can to ensure we do so. We've got very few players away with their countries. I'd expect them to have been working hard this last week. The big holiday comes when we're sure we're not going down. Taking time off when he's had very little time on the training ground and we've got arguably our two biggest games since our relegation in 2022/23 and he's just come off the back of 8 weeks between jobs is ridiculous to be honest and wouldn't be accepted at a serious club. -

He's not a binman, a postie or a plumber. He's on millions a year with the aim of ensuring we don't get relegated in 8 weeks time. I'd fully expect him to be working until he's achieved that aim. He's just come off a 2 month break don't forget. -

Rowett's been on his jollies this week. 40 days into the job at a critical time of the season but nevermind eh! -
Doesn't the club still own and run Belvoir Drive? I suspect the womens team will move to Seagrave (as they should) and we'll sell Belvoir Drive. I don't see how the training ground could possibly cost £15m to run. That's surely a massive overstatement. If it is right i'm sure they could drastically reduce that figure if it became a big problem. But I am sure that infrastructure costs aren't a part of PSR calculations. I suppose a massive cash loss in Seagrave only makes finding a buyer harder. For all of Aiyawatt's faults, at least it appears as though he's happy to keep burning his cash away here.

3 points period where we played nearly 50% of our league games and we didn't finish rock bottom. It's mental when you really think about it. Combined goal difference of -193 from the 3 relegated teams and if you put our points together (and taken out the points won against each other) we'd have only finished 14th.

Do we know about Jordan James' injury yet?

Terrible writing and bad casting killed that series off. It seemed to latch on to all of JK Rowlings worst ideas and didn't have any real continuity. The best part of all three films was the same character that was played by three different actors (all wildly different from each other). Jonny Depp would have been a phenomenal Grindelwald and deserved to have that role properly in a much darker environment. The opening scenes of The Crimes of Grindelwald goes against any other scene from the Harry Potter 'universe'. It was a brilliant opening to a shite film. There was room for a fun story about magical animals and a darker story about the rise of Grindelwald. I don't think they needed to combine the two.
